Man that franchise just can't catch a break. They've had a bunch of talent signed to sweet heart deals (partially thanks to the no state tax) and still can't buy a cup. Makes me appreciate the Hawks getting 3 cups in the Toews and Kane era (although people ripping Bowman for wasting those two the past 4-5 years is warranted too).

I could see Edwin struggling a bit this season moreso because of his father's passing (or he could just flat out rake in honor of him). I've seen plenty of players handle death differently during a season.

Why does it have to be bad? Sox pitching can easily give up 2-3 runs and still be down 3-0, 3-1, 2-0, etc.

Hell of a game despite the loss. I'm probably one of the few that hopes Saad stays around. He'll frustrate you with his lack of finish, but he does sooo much good out there that it easily offsets that. Plus he's always been durable (minus this season and he'll still likely play 70 games). I've always been pro Saad... (barring someone overpaying to acquire him) Oh and St. Louis just helping out the Hawks future (draft). You love to see it.

Tell them we'll give them Fulmer for Deivi Garcia. They can bet on the former 1st rounder. Better yet, Fulmer has huge untapped potential.. better get that Dominguez kid instead.

Preach. Been clamoring for a prep guy for a while. Get the lower level talent in order. Sox are way too top heavy. I'm okay with them going prep afterwards if they do take a college guy at #11 too, but I'd much rather see a highly touted kid who is a top 5-10 talent in the draft from all scouting/reports go to us.
