Part of me wishes the Knights somehow got Detwiler and Herrera back. They need another rotation and bullpen arm to really be set.

I love that he hits mistakes. They were trying to get him on a slider low and away, pitcher hung it and he crushed it. You better get that slider down or he'll murder you.

Not to mention playing 1B. Which is why I don't want him resigned. Sox FO wants Ricky to be the guy long term? Take away his toys that he plays terribly. Barring him batting Madrigal 3rd or cleanup in the future, I don't care if he puts any of the young guys that matter (Moncada, Robert, Vaughn, Eloy, etc) in those spots.

Holy shit Robert just missed another BOMB. Just hugged the foul pole for a foul ball. Literally inches from being fair. Left the opposing announcers speechless. Wound up striking out (ball low and away announcers also vouched he needs to lay off of at the next level) but damn!

The two most important parts of the rebuild are batting 5th and 6th and getting less PA's in the lineup.. I like Ricky as a tank commander, not as a competent manager.

This is a big series for the Knights. Durham is the team they are tied with for that wild card spot. They can gain some distance from them and still have a very good shot at getting 1st too.
