Moncada's issue is much moreso with his throws. Can't count the number or errors he's either made a bad throw or Abreu couldn't scoop up the ball an average defensive 1B would make. He gets a bit of a pass since he's at a position he hasn't played in years too. I can look and personally see a potentially good to great defensive 3B there. Timmy... eh... we'll see.

He's made boneheaded errors when a couple of our pitchers had no hitters going (I believe Miguel Gonzalez in fact had a perfect game at the time). Eh.. maybe maturity will help him down the line without trying to show off/play with flair in that instance.

I remember Bobby Abreu going to the Angels and literally working with hitters and preaching to them to work every count and take their walks. Quite a few hitters numbers jumped up if I remember correctly. No lie, I would take him right now in this org as a hitting instructor in some capacity.

The pitching matchup heavily favors Philly so much it's unbelievable. But baseball is dumb so... you never know.

Fulmer should've never batted in the first place. Had an OF pitching and Fulmer's pitch count was high (hasn't had that many pitches in a while). I honestly thought Jay was going to bat in that situation and Osich was going to come in afterwards. He probably wanted to save Osich but we saw that didn't work. I applaud Fulmer for busting his ass (he really wanted that hit) but as we saw with any pitcher, never a good idea.
