I mean, yeah no shit

What a scoop.  Tomorrow he's gonna claim the sky is blue.

I did not know we could write headlines this long in the forum.

Ah what does he know.  I'm going to wait until we hear from Peggy Kusinski's kid.

It's Frank Thomas. He can say whatever he wants regarding the Sox.

Apparently, the Sox had NBC Sports scrub the pregame video of Frank saying that Robert wouldn’t be up this year based on his discussion with Hahn.

This makes me think Hahn is definitely holding Robert and Madrigal down until two weeks into next season, is worried about taking advantage of the service time deadline, and doesn’t want the video used against him in a grievance.

It was a joke.  Remember Kenny going off on Frank?

How would that video help a grevience. That's an interesting conclusion you came to not based on reality of course... but a negative spin on the FO none the less. You'll always find a way.

I’m open to other reasons the Sox would have NBC Sports scrub the pregame video.

Because they didnt give Frank Thomas permission to report on his conversation with Hahn, and he works for the team so when he delivers messages (while being paid by them) they get to control the message. It's really a simple concept.

Frank can only report on the conversations that take place on the record when he's operating as a representative of the team.

Isn’t he working for NBC Sports Chicago?

The White Sox own a majority share of NBC sports Chicago.

The White Sox don't but Reinsdorf does. His combo of the Bulls and Sox take up 2/3 of the ownership, now that the Cubs have divested.

Doesn't matter, reporting still needs to be on the record for Frank to report it

Frank is Kaplan’s show talking about it. Nothing new other than Frank calls hm Roberts.

Uh oh, here comes another "service time" argument.
