You don't watch hockey
Tony is one of the biggest hockey fans on this site. One of the rare people here who you can't even question his hockey knowledge.

Conor McDavid gets checked into the boards and holding his left shoulder. Did not move it at all.
Even with all their #1 picks, that franchise still can't catch a break. That kid is gonna lose alot of development time if he's out a while.
QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Nov 2, 2015 -> 01:32 PM)
Yeah but now everyone in the division is good. The Stars are 9-2. Nashville holding serve. Blues are always dangerous. Blackhawks looked completely outclassed against Winnipeg.
Still only 10 games in. The Leafs were starting off fast the past 2 years as well and fell back. And Winnipeg always does well against the Hawks. Same with Colorado and Varlamov.
Props to Rocky for (once again) eating that bad contract.
Hawks with the youth movement coming in now. Dano, Kero, Hartman, Panarin, Teravainen, TVR, Gustafsson, Svedberg. All 24 and younger.

#Blackhawks send Bryan Bickell to Rockford, recall Marko Dano. Go crazy, Twitter.
Omg!

With the Keith injury and their difficulty to gel so far, I'll admit the thought of digging an early hole and missing the playoffs has crossed my mind.
They had the same record last year. Looked how that turned out... although I will admit the lack of scoring is a bit worse this year and the fact they have more rookies. I doubt they'll miss the playoffs unless they pull a Kings and really not give a s*** in the regular season.

I vote no, but it will be yes.
I'm no as well. But we'll see.

Guy they picked over Sale
He's been a bust for them, but now he'll be remembered forever in KC if they win it.

It's not Sabremetrics, as many examples you can give of the more experienced team winning I can give you just as many examples of the inexperienced team winning. In '05 every team we faced in the playoffs was far more experienced than us, but we still kicked ass.
Particularly why I deleted the post. I agree with you, but I'm not going to doubt professional athletes who play the game either on their mentality.
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 10:44 PM)
There's no correlation between experience and playoff success.
Tell that to the players and manager who have repeatedly said it before and during this series. They know what it takes now. Not just "being happy to be there."
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 31, 2015 -> 10:59 PM)
The Royals were down 3-2 before Hosmer's ball to Murphy.
He makes the play and it's runners on second and third, two outs for Moustakas and the Mets clinging to the lead. They probably would have loaded the bases to face Perez, for the Rhb/Rhp matchup.
Bingo. Cubs fans on twitter already comparing it to Buckner. Think that's a bit ridiculous, but it wouldn't surprise me if that was the death blow to the Mets chances.
