  1. Rex Ryan not challenging that catch in the 4th quarter with 3 minutes left was idiotic.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 27, 2015 -> 09:00 AM) chat crew reprazent Miss the chat crew. So many legendary moments.
  3. Congrats to Kaner on tying the record for an American born player! Getzlaf... what a captain.
  4. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Nov 27, 2015 -> 10:46 AM) Not sure why I didn't remember that. Since the Ilya Kovalchuk thing, teams have undervalued KHL players calling them "risks". I can't say I blame them. Glad this one is working out. KHL risks were happening way before the Kovalchuk bailout. There are still teams to this day who don't trust the Russian factor. Luckily younger Russians are more excited in playing in the NHL and the KHL itself (from owners on down) are going broke.
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 27, 2015 -> 08:48 AM) Jay Cutler beat Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau Field. Might be the first time ever I actually turned on First and Take (since ESPN is crap anyways) to see Skip Bayless absolutely own the segment and be happy. As we all know he's a big Cutler fan.
  6. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Nov 26, 2015 -> 10:59 PM) I don't think Callahan, Amos, Christian Jones will be no-names much longer. And Tracy Porter on a "show me" deal as well. Just outstanding finds by Pace. (minus Jones who was signed in the old regime)
  7. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 26, 2015 -> 10:50 PM) John Fox, warts and all, has made the Bears competitive. That's a heck of an improvement from the s***fest last year. GG Bears! Can not agree more. He has done a fantastic job with this team. I don't agree with alot of his in game management, but his players are definitely overachieving and buying in. Pace needs to continue to draft and find talent and this rebuild will be alot quicker than people think.
  8. I can care less about this win making the Bears draft pick worse. It's always nice to beat Green Bay.
  9. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Nov 26, 2015 -> 09:31 PM) Calls are becoming a joke. I had to just laugh at that Slauson "tripping" penalty.
  10. Great call Dick Allen. I, like fathom, was surprised he was only 28. Hopefully he has a one year show it year like A.J. In 05.
  11. Big fan of Almonte. Not too thrilled about this move as a prospect guy. Hopefully this guy turns into a RH Matt Thornton.
  12. "Johnny Football" Manziel is still 'money' in those night clubs eh?
  13. Jets cut former 1st round pick Quinton Coples due to lack of playing time, particularly a new system. (he thrived in a 3-4 under Rex Ryan) Bears should be ALL OVER THIS. Only 25 years old.
  14. QUOTE (raBBit @ Nov 18, 2015 -> 01:13 PM) Other than JPN with Quintana and CWS with Sanchez, you had the best post in there. Bassit and Ravelo took big leaps and the Sox got value from them. Daniel Webb was pretty good in the minors and actually made the bigs and was decent the season prior (Bassit as well). I got 3rd place by default
  15. Man.. that team just doesn't miss from 3. I remember the Barnes for Deng rumors back in the day. Sigh..
  16. Darling single handedly stole a point for the Hawks. Everyone else was below average to terrible this game. One good news is Kane extended his point streak.
  17. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 12:12 PM) Bushrod's back is messed up, but Leno is young and is playing solid and seems to be getting better. He handled Quinn (who came off the bench this week as he still is recovering from an injury) and seemed to keep his stat sheet clean. It also seemed like Leno was getting less help in this game then previous games. I'm not saying he's a stud, but right now, I don't know why you'd turn away from Leno. We need to see what we have in him cause he looks like he might actually be a keeper on the left side. Note I said, looks like, I didn't say he is. PFF gave him the top career grade so far. (Fuller had the highest grade this past game. Zach Miller for offense)
  18. In other news, it looks like Roszival is activated. Erik Gustafsson (whose been really impressive for the Hawks) was sent down. We'll see when Keith is officially activated what they do with Svedberg or Rundblad. Dano on the first line in practice also.
  19. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Nov 13, 2015 -> 08:52 AM) I wouldn't say "doom", but Dale Tallon knew when he signed that long term contract that Hossa would give the team some bad seasons. I just think we all got used to this concept of Hossa's "immortality". He lost a step maybe two seasons ago, but now he looks like he has aged a lot more. Hopefully that's not true, but it's certainly possible. Considering Tallon wanted Havlat over Hossa, I don't think he knew much of anything regarding "bad seasons" and such. Hossa won't be the same player in a couple of years when he ages more (for the record, his speed is still very solid but his shot certainly has went away) but he will slide into that 3rd line role quite nicely.. if he hasn't already.. whenever Q decides to make the move. All things considered, any Hawks fan will definitely trade off the 3 cups (and possibly counting) for it.
  20. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 09:12 PM) I feel like he's stolen a few games for the Hawks this year too, but tonight he looks brutal. Definitely a goalie loss.
  21. I don't know how long it's gonna soak in for me that Alex freaking Rios is a World Series champion. I remember a certain poster here who said he will never win anything.
