Poor Danks.

5/12 GT - Sox (14-19) @ Min (21-12) - 12:10p CSN
And the sox back to winning a game, getting our hopes up, and of course losing the last one (or two)

Konerko was our best chance. Damn Jones why did you have to get a stiff neck already.

f***. Don't like our chances now.

Ah f***... JUST foul.

5/12 GT - Sox (14-19) @ Min (21-12) - 12:10p CSN
Konerko is our best hope IMO.

After Konerko, it should be a cake-walk of a save for Rauch.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 12, 2010 -> 02:23 PM) STFU Cuddyer. Haha, he's had a tough day. First gets a home run robbed, then a check swing K.

Boy that .257/.388 from Thome would look awful in our lineup right Ozzie?

QUOTE (fathom @ May 12, 2010 -> 02:18 PM) Yes, but neither guy K's a lot. Hard to complain about that with either of them. . Naw it is still very easy to complain about Pierre for me fathom. But ya I more or less posted that to get a rise. QUOTE (Capn12 @ May 12, 2010 -> 02:20 PM) There are plenty of things to complain about concerning this team. Juan Pierre's 7 strikeouts all year, not so much one of them. Ha.. seems to be working.

It's gonna be another close call on the PTC. Hopefully Pierre pulls it out over Konerko eh knight?

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 12, 2010 -> 02:17 PM) That'd be great, considering he'd be lucky to get 12 ab's every 2 weeks. Hense why I said "still in contention." Obviously that means A.J. is still here at catcher. If we were out of it (like many think we already are now) than Flowers should be here.

5/12 GT - Sox (14-19) @ Min (21-12) - 12:10p CSN
For a guy who doesn't K that much, Pierre already has more K's than A.J.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 12, 2010 -> 02:13 PM) Ditto Flowers. Please. If Flowers was promoted right now, I would love the move unless we were still in contention. Dude can also draw walks probably 4th best on this team right now. (hell he drew 3 last year in like 12 ABs)

Ozzie got extremely lucky with that inning. I was ready to rip him a new one. He's lucky Joe Mauer decided to suck that at-bat.

Breaking in a Baseball Glove
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 12, 2010 -> 10:02 AM) I used the real oven, not the microwave. Ditto. The oven would do wonders for me. I used oil and other stuff too, just didn't work as well. The ol put the ball in the glove and tape it around trick worked ok too.

UGH on Danks pitching the 7th. Like I knew would happen. Mauer/Morneau now up.

5/12 GT - Sox (14-19) @ Min (21-12) - 12:10p CSN
We will be better off facing their pen than Pavano.

5/12 GT - Sox (14-19) @ Min (21-12) - 12:10p CSN
Gordon has hit the ball ALOT better the past couple games.

5/12 GT - Sox (14-19) @ Min (21-12) - 12:10p CSN
I'll bet money Ozzie puts Danks back in the 7th cause of it now. Lets just hope the bullpen warms up.

5/12 GT - Sox (14-19) @ Min (21-12) - 12:10p CSN
Everybody is talking about Beckham struggles, but minus that at-bat, Quentin has looked much worse.

5/12 GT - Sox (14-19) @ Min (21-12) - 12:10p CSN
I'm gonna go out and assume this will improve Rios' WAR statistic. *cough..what is it good for..cough*

I'll give Juan Pierre credit. He is trying to make me hate him less. This is one of those game that if Danks can give you 6, you take him out cause he's been battling all day, pitch count be damned. If he is still in by the 7th giving up 10+ hits even with 80 pitches, Ozzie should be fired. RIOS! Holy s***!

NBA playoffs thread
QUOTE (knightni @ May 12, 2010 -> 02:00 AM) For me, Wade to Chicago is a better option than LeBron. Even if he isn't as good, there's less trash attitude - possibly cheaper too - plus he'll be back "home". Common agrees. Funny that he agrees with me on 2 of my personal top 3 that I want.
