  1. There is only one second baseman and one SS, they have like 5 guys for those two positions.
  2. Give me Busch and 4 of: Pepiot Sheehan Stone Frasso River Ryan Knack Hurt Bruns
  3. If Baltimore doesn't want to pony up for Cease and Sox are prioritizing fielders (just a concept) , then I could see bringing Baltimore in for a 3 way with Atlanta or St Louis, with Smith-Shawver or Matz going back to the Orioles.
  4. I'm hoping for 2-3 players in return that stick. That's why I'd take quantity over quality. I've seen those pretty 60-70 grade prospects and I'm perfectly content with 4 prospects that are 45-55 than a 60 and a 50. If you look at the top vote getters for ROY this year, of the 16 finalists about a 3rd weren't even MLB top 100.
  5. Getz said they need pitching too. Sox, Orioles and Dodgers also line up nice for a three way, if sox prefer position players
  6. It was in his notes, so no conspiracy https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/columnist/bob-nightengale/2023/11/19/san-diego-padres-owner-peter-seidler-dies-mlb-peers/71642106007/
  7. https://x.com/chisportupdates/status/1726229329737114008?s=46&t=NtJZNPrBGW4stV_Hn8LUIw Nightengale deleted his tweet. Makes me wonder if they are close and LAD asked him to delete it.
  8. We have all been hyper focused on CIN or BAL trading for Cease. I'm starting to wonder if one of Boston, NYY or NYM step up. They all have immense pressure to win and have some prospect depth to play with. Sox are reported to be focusing in middle infielders and all three of those teams have intriguing SS prospects.
  9. We trade Burger but keep Vaughn, Eloy and Anderson. ?
  10. I'd trade Eloy in a heartbeat if we had a good offer for him. I've given up on him staying healthy. I traded him to the Marlins for both of my last two offseason plan projects. White Sox get: McNeil & Alvarez Mets get: Eloy & Liam Done. Heck, if we don't have to cut payroll, then you could go get Conforto.
  11. Maybe you don't keep Baty, you flip him to TB for Lowe.
  12. Mets get: Kelly & Leury White Sox get: McCann, Guillorme, $2m Sox fill 2b need and backup catcher.
  13. I’m guessing he’d be part of the Mets trade. Swapping bad contracts
  14. McCann and Kelly is my bet. I’d love to get Guillorme from them.
  15. Kelly had a great FIP and xFIP. High bb rate but offset with high k rate. Not sure why all the hate

  18. 1. SS Anderson 2. LF Benintendi 3. CF Robert 4. DH Jimenez 5. CA Grandal 6. 1B Vaughn 7. 3B Moncada 8. RF Colas 9. 2B Romy/Lenyn

  20. It will be interesting to see if NYY, LAD, and ATL don't land Swanson/Correa if they pivot to TA. They all have the pieces to convince Hahn to trade him. All three could use Hendriks as well.
  21. Supply and demand are both factors. Rodon needs to go before teams will pivot to Giolito. Correa and Swanson need to go before teams pivot to TA. Whether or not a team is in the market for any of those players, the results of their signing shift the demand, which Hahn would look to maximize. Teams also need to be under a little more pressure to move and there is no pressure on 12/9.
