QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Apr 24, 2010 -> 01:56 PM) I wonder if the Bears would take Myron Rolle if he falls to them in the seventh round. I am just watching the ESPN piece on him now. VERY impressive individual. I'd LOVE to see him on the Bears. -

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Apr 24, 2010 -> 01:47 PM) The Bears got LeFevour? That's a pretty damn good pick. He's a guy who actually has a chance to be a damn good QB. I know nothing of the guy. Can you give me a scouting report and why did he fall to the 6th? -

QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 23, 2010 -> 08:12 PM) Clausen to Carolina Tate to Seattle I think that both places are good for them to succeed in the NFL. Couldn't have worked out better for both of them. -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 23, 2010 -> 11:21 AM) Orlando (and Florida in general) is another place like Vegas, Phoenix, Riverside, that was ground zero for the housing boom/bust. .... Look at the 2001 or so prices, adjust for inflation, and that's probably about where things should be. Thanks for the info. We're REALLY tempted to make the jump now, but I need to get my schooling in first.

I am going to try and explain this as best as I can. Over the last few days, my wife and I have toyed with the idea of potentially moving to Orlando within 5 years (more toward 2015). So, just for kicks we started pricing out homes down there to see what we could potentially get. We came across some REALLY impressive houses in our projected price range ($150,000). They seemed... well, too good to be true for me. So, I did a little research. Many of these house were once valued/listed at $270,000-$310,000 around 2003-2007. Prior to that, many of them were similar in price to what they are being listed at currently. So, if I am projecting out housing prices to 2015, what do I do? Do I assume that the 2003-2007 prices were a cause of the our of control housing market and therefor a statistical outlier and assume the 2000 price is more realistic. Or, do I assume that when the market and economy go back up, a good assumption is to find a middle ground in the prices? Yes, I know every market has it's own variables. Just looking for a little help.

Two Comments: 1) I hope that people dont some how equate that because some were watching porn, that lead to the financial collapse. That would a gross over simplification. 2) Firewalls? Web-filters? Has the SEC never heard of these things?

QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 22, 2010 -> 10:51 PM) My friend was reading a Broncos board and he said in the minutes leading up to the pick some of the posters saw it coming and they were like "oh please God no" It's not the dumbest pick of all time, but it's pretty darn stupid. That whole Broncos organization is a complete mess right now. What a joke. Tebow very well may be the greatest human being to have ever walked the earth since Jesus (I'm exaggeration here), but he's going to be a BAD NFL QB. I think he throws a lazy ball with not a lot of speed or accuracy from what I've seen. I'd go as far as to say he's not as good as Rex was. -

FlashFOrward was epically awesome last night.

Interesting note on the white board. Below each episode box is who the episode revolves around. Last night was listed as "__oundelay", two weeks from now (the next episode) is , and in three weeks "Across the Seas" is listed as . Any thoughts on what the unseen words are? My guess is the the last one is .

QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Apr 21, 2010 -> 12:29 PM) They do things like this all the time, they're just very quiet about it. The dont leave hardware just laying around. that's my point. Yes, they leak details to "friendly" journalists. But they never outright leave hardware int he open.

I disagree. This is VERY unApple. They are message control freaks. They like to keep it close to the vest until they get on stage at a press event. If they want to build interest, they have very controlled information leaks through select outlets. But to have a prototype "accidentally" left at a barm then be bought by a blog is not very wise on their part.

I thought last night's episode was excellent. It was very disjointed, but solid.

Damon Lindelof- Yesterday was... there is no word. To watch the people who actually MAKE this show as they made it one last time... man, what a gift.
