Tea Party Movement Spreads To Military I believe if this had happened 3 years ago, they would have been branded as "unpatriotic" by a certain political party. I wonder how they will handle this now.

The official There Is Nothing Wrong With Peavy Thread
HuskyCaucasian replied to macsandz's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I reserve the right to physically assault anyone who says "Peavy is a bust" or anything along those lines. -
QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 03:47 PM) How are they enforcing that? I havent heard yet. Not sure if they are going to be proactive or simply fine those who are accidentally found to be in violation. It's find of hard to enforce unless a guy from the FCC walks up to our building with some sort of a receiver. Our signal doesnt even reach the street, so they'd have to be on property.

I just read that the wireless mic system I use where I work is being banned from operation effective June 12th. Now sure how I missed that, but that sucks. Now I have to replace it with a new $4000 system. This is a result of the 700MHz spectrum sale a few years back.

Polish president, Dignitaries killed in plane crash
HuskyCaucasian replied to Balta1701's topic in The Filibuster
Sad to say, but with as much air travel the US presidents make, one day a crash or major malfunction is going to happen. -

And I agree, the twist was nice, I have loved Flash Forward from the start...well, except for Joseph Fiennes' bad over-acting. My wife is still pissed that Nothing worse than !

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 09:50 AM) Anyone catch the South Park Facebook episode last week? One of the better episodes I've seen. The Cartman / Mad Money spot was hilarious. The Cartman / Mad Money was absolutely SPOT ON. It was a great episode.

Today's going to be very interesting with Tiger only 4 back and tied for 3rd. It's not impossible to see him force a playoff.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 01:05 PM) I think. But the spare AF1 (which isn't AF1 when the president is not on it) usually goes whereever the president goes. AF 2 is for the VP, that is correct. There are Two AF1s but only one flies under the moniker of AF1, the other as a regular airplane identifier until the President is on board. I watched a special on AF1 a while back. it was pretty interesting. Basically, two are flown for various reasons: backup if there is problem with one, decoy, you get the idea. Both are exactly identical. -
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 10:41 AM) Yes, that was a fantastic plot twist. Heard this theory today: I dont believe that, but it would be an interesting double-twist.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 02:27 PM) The AP has another one with Ratzinger's name on it. Maybe someone can enlighten me on Catholisism. I seem to remember that once you are named Pope you are considered infallible. Am I correct?

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 08:28 AM) Flash Forward was incredible last night. The last minute reminded me of why I fell in love with LOST in the early seasons, and I'm sure that is not coincidence. That is how you work a plot twist to a 'T' Mother f'er!!! Holy $h!t!!! Aaahhhhh!!!

I was thinking last night: How long until cell networks change from call+data networks to just simply a pipe for data? I'd love to see a scenario where instead of having various levels of minutes there are various levels of data usage. My phone no longer has a telephone number, it has an IP address. I can make a call using the cell networks number provided to me by Verizon (if I choose to pay for a Verizon number), or I can use my Skype number.

QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 12:47 PM) Here is a great news for IPhone and IPad owners. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Apple-iPhone...317043.html?x=0 iPhone/iPod/iPad OS 4 looks pretty sweet. Solid improvement. If iPhone comes to Verizon, it's going to be hard for me to decided between the Nexus One (when it comes to Verizon) and the iPhone.
