  1. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 11:54 AM) Ya i think she actually is. It makes sense actually. They wouldnt have shown all her reactions if she wasnt, otherwise it wouldnt make sense. She clearly looks conflicted and guilty.
  2. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 11:31 AM) That's bulls***. They air Victoria's Secret commercials. oh I agree. then the question is why did they reject this LaneBryant add?
  3. Arizona lawmakers OK several changes to immigration law
  4. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 11:14 AM) Tweet of the day... "Every asshole who ever chanted 'Drill baby drill' should have to report to the Gulf coast today for cleanup duty," - Bill Maher LOVE IT!!!!!
  5. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 10:59 AM) Three out of four too. A few weeks ago was only meh but it was a clear set-up episode. Next week looks good too. I'm loving the plot twists and turns. Nothing seems forced or lame. Reminds me of early LOST So, All we say was her being ASKED to be one.
  6. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 10:53 AM) Flash Forward was awesome last night again. Two weeks in a row. They are really pouring it on.
  7. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 10:34 AM) Yeah I hear ya. The good thing about Portland though is that my wife could feasibly work part time or for a considerably lower salary than she's making now since the cost of living is lower there. But one step at a time for me. I don't even have an offer yet. yea, for me it really all depends on what I would be making. If I can get a $10,000 increase in pay from what I make now (whic I think is reasonable if I move from my current career into an IT field), my wife could work part time as one of those women's party consultants (scrapbooking, candles, sex toys, you get the idea).

  9. The 50 Greatest Christina Hendricks Cleavage Photos...So Far Now THIS is a woman!!!! HUBA HUBA! "The 21-year-old model, who was born in Brooklyn, is known as a 'plus-sized' model because of her shapely curves. At 5'9" and a bust size of 38, she certainly draws attention with her full figure. However, Ashley drew too much attention recently when her commercial for Lane Bryant was rejected by ABC, reportedly for being too sexy. But some critics said the network nixed the spot, which was scheduled to run during Dancing With the Stars, because it showed a full-figured woman in a sexy ad." *changes name to Dan*
  10. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 10:04 AM) Another thing I discussed with my wife was possibly having her continue to work here while using a recruiter to find a job out there. She'd have friends/family to stay with here while I started working in Portland. That way we'd still have 2 sources of income while she tries to land a job out there. My thought was the same thing when we do it. IF i had to be working before we could move, my wife and kids could live with my parents in their basement while she finds a job. Our GOAL is to have her only work part time once we move, but between you and me... I dont see that happening... just dont tell her that.
  11. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 12:44 PM) Actual Arizona firms facing a boycott: Cold Stone Creamery, U-Haul and Best Western. I dont understand the idea of boycotting companies based in the state. I can understand EVENTS in the state such as Super Bowls, bowl games, and Final 4s because people attending could be profiled. But why would I boycott the Cold Stone Creamery at Streets of Woodfield?

  13. When my wife and I decided to make the move out of state, I have a few added levels of complexity. Not only do we own a home that we would have to sell, but we also have two daughters. So, any move out of state would include transferring schools and avoiding paying a mortgage while renting before we buy in the new location. My biggest fear is they would say "we need you in 2 weeks"
  14. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 04:33 PM) Just finished phase 2 of the phone interviews. Phew! If they like me there's one more interview in person. awesome. good luck!
  15. QUOTE (G&T @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 05:42 AM) It was created specifically to house the federal government. When created, I think the point was to keep it away from state influences. Of course, all of that is moot today. I like the idea of letting that has been floating around of Maryland absorbing most of what is left of the DC and only important federal buildings remain as independent property.
  16. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 02:30 PM) I'd assume salaries aren't as high as Chicago's. My understanding of salaries from one city to another is largely based on job position and company size. An exec for a large multi-state company based out of St. Louis probably makes the same as if it were based out of chicago. But a checkout clerk at Toys R Us would make less in St. Louis.
  17. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 02:30 PM) I was hoping for a bigger response from my fellow Lost fans I got the reference right away
  18. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 02:26 PM) Doesn't all that stuff even out at the end somehow? They just raise a different tax. Florida's primary revenue generator is tourism. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 02:26 PM) Never heard of them to be honest. It's the "company" that recruited Juliet and brought her to the island on LOST.
  19. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 02:24 PM) Higher income tax? One of the reasons i live the idea of moving to Florida... no income tax
  20. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 02:20 PM) And I did a comparison on cost of living between Chicago and Portland. Your money goes further there and no sales tax. No sales tax in Portland/Oregon?? What are their primary revenue generators?
  21. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 02:20 PM) Mittelos Bioscience? noooo stay away from them!!!
  22. QUOTE (3E8 @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 01:50 PM) Portland is a great city in my opinion, I've been there for business. It reminds me of Austin, where I live now. Portland is so strikingly green. I know you are referring to the color, but I seem to remember seeing a few weeks ago that Portland is also a very pro-ecofriendly ("green") city as well. Maybe not the city itself, but the residents.
