For the past 3 years I have been egerly awaiting a chance to have an internship opportunity. And I have always wanted to work for The Score. And the good news is, I got an internship there for over the summer!!!!! The bad news, it’s with the Wise Guys. And as many of you know, I have a distinct dislike for Mr. North and his show. I am glad I got an internship and an opportunity to work at the score, but man does it suck it is with North.

Honestly, who really cares outside of SanFran when Bonds hits #660? I havent met anyone yet who is like "DId you see the game? Did he homer? I have to know!". By the way ESPN is treating it, you would think that is what our world revolve around. I am more interested in watching the hockey game on ESPN2 than I am about the Bonds HR. And, I dont even LIKE hockey!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Barry, PLEASE hit your dang homerun. I am sick and tired of ESPN's 24 hour coverage of Bonds' chase of Mays. It amazes me how they can be talking about something completely unrelated and all of a sudden it is back to Bonds. "Well, that's so and so's first homerun this year. You know, Bonds is expected up 5th next inning. He is going after his godfather in the all time homerun list" *GAGS* Just hit the damn homerun so they will shutup.

Well, let's look at 3 of the most popular teams in America. The Cubs.... The Yanks.... and the Braves. 2 of those 3 teams are owned my a media master. Cubs.... the Trib Braves.... Turner Both teams have the ability to put their teams on their own stations NATIONWIDE! I would be interested to see the ration of Cubs games on the Superstation compared to Sox games on the Superstation. I bet you it is even more shocking.

Hence why media companies shouldn't be allowed to own sports teams.

Really? WOW! I never really took notice before. I am not a Cubs fan, so I never watch their games, so I never really noticed. Just, when I printed out the list i was suprised.

I was looking at the Sox games that would be broadcast on WGN in HDTV just a few moments ago. Then, just for kicks I thought I would print out the Cubs HD schedule for my dad (he is a huge cubs fan). I noticed that the Cubs list was much longer. So, I plugged both schedules into EXcel and counted up the number of times each team is on WGN or WCIU. The numbers were stagering! I never thought it was this bad. The Cubs are on WGN a total of 68 times! The Sox....28. THat is beyond belief. Talk about pimping your own team. Yikes!

Reinsdorf was on the Wise Guys this afternoon and said the same thing, but didnt name names.

I dotn knwo if anyone has mentioned this, but Jason Giambi is a freaking twig now. Did you see the game today? WOW! I was at work and we were watching the game. One of the drives walks up and looks at Giambi at the plate. He just turns to me and says "he has lost a ton of weight. Definitly not on roids anymore". I have to completely agree. I dont by Giambi saying he "ate better" over the offseason. Eating better doesnt cause your arms to shring THAT drasticly.

Family Guy is probably one of the funniest shows I have seen in a long time. My parents and fiancee watch it then look at me funny, but I love it.

You know, I never really had any respect for Mike North and i never will. There is a reason I dont listen to him, he trys to pull crap like what he did today. The first I head of this "trade" was just know while I was reading the thread. How Mike North continues to be employed in this city, i have no idea. I would rather listen to Jim Rome than him. And if you know me, you KNOW how much I cant stand Jim Rome. The Score is on my radio from 8AM (assuming I am awake) until 2PM. Then the SECOND Boers and Bersie are doen, on goes ESPN Radio. Have any of you seen Mike North in person? You want to define a Jag-bag? He trys to seem like this great family man, but he is hugging and kissing and flirting with the waitresses at hooters. What a Joke. Mike North...... WHO YOU CRAPIN?

Whould it be hard to believe that after this season, Jose will be let go and Uribe will move over to short? To me, it seems like this season is a hold over until he can take that job and then it will be him and Willie up the middle. Now, if Willie takes this great oppertunity to play 2nd for a good chunk of the season and falls flat on his face, then that changes everything.
