Today when I went to the Auto Show, we had to park at U.S. Cellular and too a shuttle to McCormick place. But, it gave me a great chance to check to the changes. And let me tell you, it gets 2 thumbs up from me. I was really impressed. It looks like it is going to turn out very nice. This was a picture I took from the parking lot….

WHat I meant was that every ear it seemed like the job was his and he was ready to take it, then all of a sudden another player showes up. Yes I know it is partially his falt, but it still doesnt feel good to constently get your job taken away from you whether you deserved it or not.

I sent in my proposal (it looks something like my sig, minus the Kirsten Dunst pictures of course). But i wont post it on the board until after the contest. He said he wanted them sent in, not posted, so I am going to honor that.

And he gets screwed every year when the Sox bring in a better player.

THat is the one major upside in my opinion. He is not easily breakable, he just happens to have a lot of wierd injuries that happen when you least expect it. Let remember that before he hurt himself last season, he was finally stating to get back on his feet.

Yes that is true. According to my internet source (http://www.bluemanc.demon.co.uk/baseball/mlbcontracts.htm) Griffey has $6.5M deferred each year. So basically, he is making $6 million a year.

Well, above all of this, i crunched the numbers and if the trade went down, the Sox payroll would jumo to over $68 million. Not bad for a team that said it cant spend more than $58 million. Only $10 million OVER budget.

Amen to that. Although, it makes you wonder how the heck a trade like that would come to be. What is the reasoning for the Reds to Basically trade Konerko for Casey.

I totally agree. I love US Cellular. I always have. Yes I thought it was dull, but I didnt care. Personally, I thought it was beautiful. And for a park that only cost $100 million to build, that is pretty darn good in my opinion. But, it will never be a "have to see" place. I dont care what changes thay make to it (I really like the changes thay have made, minus the Fan deck in center, i dont get that at all), it will never be a must see place. So, we just have to deal with it. and hopefully when their lease runs out, we will have a new owner who can build a nicer park in a nicer area. McDome sounds like a nice idea to me.

Hey guys. I am working on this, but I need some help. I submited this idea to Mark with pictures of Frank and Maggs, but I think i can do better. So, I am looking for ideas of what I can put in the open gray areas. I am open to anything. just let me know.

OH! and I need a ruling on something. In regards to the rule about not including a teams logo. I assume that applies to the Sox Logo? I ask because the Scoreboard has the Sox logo on it in 2 spots and I need to know if I need to remove those. Plus, can I keep the "U.S. Cellular name on the Scoreboard or does that need to know? Just asking. THanks for the help.

Thanks I dont know if that would be good enough to be the logo on it's own, so that is why I offered it to anyone who might like to use it. I am currently attempting to work that logo into the White Sox Scoreboard, but i just started on that, so it is in its infintcy.
