I am not much of a Graphic designer, so I have a feeling I wont stand much of a chance against some of you, so I am submitting something you all can use if you like. i dont know what else I can do with it (although I may try), so I am submitting this to allow all of you to use it if you like. i think It is a real slick looking "Sox Talk" logo, but other elements need to be added to it. From what I have read, Reed is a corner outfiielder. But to my knowledge, he is playing CF in the minors.

I understand your argument, I am just looking for a way to find positions for some of the Sox young promising players. that is all. I would like to see Reed in left (better than Lee) and Lee at DH.

He really hasnt had a great deal of time at the major league level, so I wouldnt mind seeing him given a chance.

There seems to be an on going debate about the potential trade with the Dodgers for Perez. Some say that Konerko should go. Some say that Thomas should go. Some say trading either of them for Perez would be a bad deal. I give you this argument: one of them has to go. Right now, we have 2 players that have no positional flexibility. They can either be the DH or play first. This is a real hindrance. Positional flexibility and line-up flexibility is a must. If one of them goes, that frees up where players can play. Let me give you this scenario. One of them is traded. That either frees up 1B or the DH. Now, Thomas or Konerko can play 1B or DH. For the sake of argument, let’s say that Konerko is traded. Thomas can then move to 1B (where he hits better and isn’t HORRIBLE defensively, but he isn’t great either). Lee moves to DH. Reed or Borchard then has the ability to play left. (Note: in another thread it was mentioned that Reed once played first, so he can play there in a pinch if needed) If something happens where Thomas can’t play 1B for some reason, then he can move back to DH, Lee to left, Reed/Borchard to center, and we can acquire another first base man (or use one on the roster). I am sure there are other senerios that could be presented, but for the sake of time I won’t go over them. Any thoughts on my idea?

I am reading "Baseball, Chicago Style: A Tale Of Two Teams, One City" by Jerome Holtzman and George Vass. So far, it is a great book. Some interesting little tidbits. I would recomend it.

By the end of the night, Lieberman, Sharpton, and Kucinich will drop out. That leaves Kerry, Dean, Edwards, and Clark. Clark wil leave after the next primary and then it is a 3 man race. I am a HUGE Dean supporter, but in the end it will be a Kerry/Edwars ticket. But, I will support Dean all the way to the end.

These are a few of my comments on “Boobie Gate”. Anyone who says this was not planned is flat out lying. MTV’s press release about the incident says “The tearing of Janet Jackson's costume was unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional and was inconsistent with assurances we had about the content of the performance.” Justin Timberlake added “"I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."” If you watch the video, Justin reaches over her right breast, digs his fingers into a gap in her outfit and rips a cup away. This is a malfunction how?? Was it supposed to shot off fireworks or something? When someone rips a cup off, one would think the boob would be exposed. PLUS, she just “happened” to have a sun medallion encircling the exposed nipple? Hmmmmmm……. Sounds a little fishy to me.

So....... how about that Janet Jackson boob?

As was mentioned, this new sports channel that the 4 teams are creating will replace Fox Sports Net basically. instead of the teams airing select games on Fox Sports Net, they will air games on this channel instead. Games will still be broadcast via WGN and WCIU. In fact, WGN announced that "beginning in April 2004, all WGN-TV Cubs, White Sox and Bulls home game telecasts will be produced in the high definition television format."

WHy is that? It seems odd that baseball would suggest a direction that your stadium should face. Does it have to do with the afore mentioned sunset factor?

North East. But the complete enclose of the OF didnt allow for a view of city. Although, when it was built, there wasnt much of a city to view.
