    Cliches

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 01:49 PM) Birdhouse in your soul? I'm your only friend, I'm not your only friend but I'm a little glowing friend, but really I'm not actually your friend but I am... Looking outside, it occurs to me that in every life a little rain must fall.
  3. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 04:13 PM) I like it Knighti but you should have taken your time more on the player on Walsh. You gotta really zoom in and get the edges well. Otherwise, sweet, cartoony look! Look at it now, I cleaned up Walsh's pic.
  4. A lot of times, "less is more". Glowing and beveling can go overboard. Try dropping shadows more and beveling and glowing less.
  5. QUOTE(ceffa2000 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 02:54 PM) Btw, I would go with the silver cami's with the tiny lace trim. The color would look nice with their shoes. Lace trim... LOL!
  6. Too bad that the background was so grainy though. Ah well..
  7. Crede glowing? bleah. That checkerboard needs to go altogether.
  8. New one http://www.mustangmods.com/data/5495/oldcomiskey.jpg IN COLOR!
  9. I kinda like this one myself, anyone think it needs anything?
  10. So, you want a Ted Turner version of photographic history. I getcha. Hmmm.. my colorization techniques are sadly lacking, but I guess that I can see what I can do.
  11. The checkerboard style needs work. Pick a different background style.
  12. Is this better? http://www.mustangmods.com/data/5495/oldcomisk1.jpg
  13. Any comments or constructive criticism would be helpful. I feel that I need to improve on this one, but I don't know how I should.
  14. QUOTE(OfficerKarkovice @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 02:56 PM) Seems to me that there is something behind the scenes going on here. IMO there seemingly are very few guys in baseball who do more for there teams than Livan Hernandez. He is an absolute workhorse, goes out there and gets the job done on a very consistent basis, is an overall athlete who can hit very well for a pitcher, and he's a gamer...they practically have to drag the guy off the field. I would love to have him on the Sox. Send Washington Sean Tracy and Shingo. Then they can put Contreras in the BP. The Cuban trifecta would be interesting to say the least.

  17. There's no good reason to look back. Might as well look forward. One day at a time, one day at a time...
  18. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 12:22 AM) I don't know. Stephen A. Smith was pretty good as a fill in for Jim Rome. The next successful guest host for Jim Rome: I hear that he gets his own show on ESPN next month.

The microsoft one is 1000x better than anything else on the market. Plus until the end of this month IT IS FREE.
  20. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 03:14 AM) Anyway yes I am totally jealous of your awesome Photoshop skillz. Perhaps you can teach me. :puke Shouldn't that be in green?
  21. I love your work by the way. If you ever consider doing retro wallpapers I would be grateful. 1917 White Sox 1959 White Sox 1983 White Sox 1993 White Sox Shoeless Joe Luis Aparicio/Nellie Fox Carlton Fisk Harold Baines Robin Ventura Jack McDowell Bo Jackson Just some ideas.
  22. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 10:30 PM) Doesn't say anything about best athlete. Just homegrown product. Well... Berwanger, Kinnick, Feller and Gable were all home-grown products.
  23. Hard to believe that the best pitcher in the American League is allowed to play "slip-n-slide" with a chance that he could jam his pitching shoulder or break his arm and be out for the season. It's all fun and games til Mark breaks an arm.
  24. Yeah. Berwanger, Kinnick, Feller and Gable were all superior athletes to Hoiberg.
