Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
I feel like Robbie Ray would be the most likely pitcher given the fact that he'd keep the MLB team fairly intact and he'd be an easy #4 guy now that Cease looks to be okay in the #3 slot. Robbie Ray and maybe Kole Calhoun for Stiever, Fry, Collins, and Luis Gonzalez?

Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
That is way too much to give up. We only need a #3 starter and a right fielder.

Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
I would not trade Dunning for anyone right now. He's on the edge of being a great starter.

Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
I just looked at an older article and Abreu does seem have a good relationship with Puig since they were teammates in Cuba. I admit that Puig can be polarizing in a negative way, though.

Soxtalk Fantasy Keeper League Openings
We have two openings, that if you join, you can continue into next season and beyond. The league has been active since 2007. I will not post the rosters because everyone will want one team over the other. One is stronger offensively, the other pitching. Neither is a top team. Thank you for the look.

Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
I know that he's been having control issues, but what about Robbie Ray? He'd be a veteran body who's going to be a free agent in the offseason. Perhaps he'd be a cheap acquisition that could work on his pitching down the stretch and contribute.

Cuban pitcher available/soon to be available
Right-wing Luis Danys Morales left Cuba in the last hours and will seek to reach the Major Leagues, a source told CiberCuba. Morales, 17, would be in Mexico and begin the process of becoming a free agent in order to move to professionalism. The supersonic prospect, the last pearl of Cuban baseball , marks 95 miles on his fastball and is believed to have a slider and curve that would take him to the highest level in baseball. Morales posted a 7-3, 0.87 ERA in the last National Junior Championship with Sancti Spiritus and dazzled with a strikeout record of 135 for the category in just 82 innings of performance. Recently, in the National Newscast of Cuban Television, they spoke about Morales being dismissed from the team without clarifying whether or not he was out of the country.

8-19 GT: Tigers @ Sox
I know that nobody cares about my fantasy team, but I have both Mize and Dunning tonight. I wonder how they'll fare.

How about split squad? Double the games then.

I feel like a 'Field of Screams' reference should be in here somewhere, but I wasn't sure how to frame it. Anyone want to attempt it?

The Bullpen
I don't wish to be a wet blanket, but I've watched Colome pitch and I'm not sure that he's the closer if this team is to win a title. He just seems so under-powered and precarious out there. Are the Sox in a place to trade for another power arm at the deadline?
