  1. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) I hate to be the one to say it, but if lest say 20% of baseball is or has roided (and thats a small estimate based on the stuff some of the admitted roiders have said) it be wrong to just assume the White Sox don't have any guys that did or have juiced. Frankly all I can do is hope they don't but thats it and I'm not going to not trade for a guy just because his name was linked to steroid rumors (obviously in Bonds case his name is the main name but s***, I don't care, he produces at ridiculously amazing clips when healthy). And I'm not advocating him coming to the Sox (although I'd be giddy if we did get him at 1yr 10 mill) but I am saying any team that gets him will be one of the big winners of FA. Freudian slip?
  2. Think they used an applicator shaped like Jodi Foster's fist?
  3. I'm not here to talk about the past... ESPN would lead off with the Sox every night next year and I could be in bed by 11:10. Why not.
  4. DJ reminds me of Uecker's color guy in Major League when Hawk gets going.
  5. http://www.nfl.com/ Click the Chargers/Bills highlights. That's him.
  6. I voted Josh Lewin as well. He's an excellent pbp guy.
  7. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 5, 2006 -> 08:09 PM) How many more years until DJ's eligible? Because I will vote like hell. :uhoh
  8. Are you trying to piss off the volcano gods?
  9. Grossman's playing like Orton, in spite of the QB, the D wins the game..
  10. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Dec 2, 2006 -> 10:37 PM) Where have I said anything about ND's strength of schedule?
  11. Badger, Wisconsin's schedule is a lot weaker than ND's. at Bowling Green (4-8) at Air Force (4-8) WESTERN ILLINOIS (5-6) at Navy (9-3) SAN DIEGO STATE (2-9) ARMY (3-9) at Michigan (11-1) MICHIGAN (11-1) at Indiana (5-7) UCLA (7-5) NORTHWESTERN (4-8) at Michigan St (4-8) MINNESOTA (6-6) at USC (10-2) at Purdue (8-5) PURDUE (8-5) ILLINOIS (2-10) NORTH CAROLINA (3-9) PENN STATE (8-4) at Penn State (8-4) at Iowa (6-6) at Georgia Tech (9-4) BUFFALO (2-10) STANFORD (1-11)
  12. ND has played Tennessee the last 2 years. They've played Florida St., Pittsburgh, Ohio St, Nebraska and Boston College in the past as well. Notre Dame has teams locked in as traditional matchups. USC - every year since 1926 Navy - every year since 1927 Purdue - every year since 1928 Michigan St. - every year since 1936 Stanford - every year since 1988 Michigan - most years since 1978 beginning in 1887 Pittsburgh - most years since 1930 Air Force - most years since 1969 So, they play 6-8 same teams every year. leaving maybe 3-5 extra games a season - not much room. They played Army this year because the NCAA allowed a 12th game and Army had an open day. Future schedules show Duke, San Diego St. etc because of agreements ND had to make in order to move a game a few years ago.
  13. Anyone watch Family Guy? I liked those guys.
  14. 2009, just enough time for George W Bush to have had a one year vacation.
  15. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Nov 30, 2006 -> 01:02 PM) According to Neyer, teams like the Royals and Drays would be interested in Haeger simply because of the low cost, and the possibility of longevitiy for their franchise. Haeger and Anderson for Crawford.
  16. Something to be said for those measly 40+ hrs too.

  18. According to ESPN, the Sawks could be getting $$ relief from Seibu. http://insider.espn.go.com/mlb/features/ru...atures%2frumors It's an insider article unfortunately.
  19. Dracula could be signing with the Cubs. I smell crosstown payback for plunking AJ.
  20. With the quiet on the Vazquez front and the declining of Glavine's option...I'd say that the Mets won.
