That's another thing@Kalapse. This team might not even be that good next year. This is an aging team with their "core" guys past their prime. They thought they had a stud in RF for the next 3 years, that's obviously not the case. Will they get the career years from guys like Derosa and Dempster that they got this year? Zambrano looks to be slipping. Harden can't go more than five innings. Just a lot of signs point to a huge dropoff next year. I'm talking a drop of 10-15 wins.

As great as this is, this doesn't come close to the '03 choke. I was kinda hoping they had lost in a more spectacular fashion. This was just a flat out anal rape without any lube.

I'm speechless. I didn't see anything remotely close to this happening. How do they bounce back from this? lol. They had the #1 offense and #2 pitching staff. They had a good bullpen (only the middle relief was suspect), and homefield advantage, where they had been dominant all year. Anyway, make that an even 100 years. Wow.
