Never liked the trade from day 1. I forced myself to like it becaue we were coming off a World Series win and I refused to question anything Kenny did. Young had a s***ty year. But I'd take his youth/upside over Javy any day of the week. And I'm not just saying that because he almost single handedly cost us a trip to the playoffs, and is the main reason we're down 0-1 right now.

OC looked like a complete buffoon yesterday. No way around it.

Wouldn't go that far@rock. One, Hiroki Kuroda has pitched very well the last two months (era of 2.29 and 2.96 in August and Septemer), two, he's owned the Cubs this year to the tune of 1 ER allowed in over 15 innings pitched this year. Three, they're the Cubs. They just can't handle the October pressure. The Dodgers are on a roll right now. I'd be very surprised if this series got to game 4. And even then, they'd have to face argubly the hottest pitcher in baseball in Derek Lowe.

I remember B & B acting as if there was no way the Cubs could lose to Arizona last year. Even after they lost game 1, they were saying the one team that absolutely had to win the game were the D-backs because they had no pitching after Brandon Webb. lol. And that the Cubs would pretty much win the next three games to win the series.

Holy s***, did you guys hear the Lou press conference? lol. Somebody asked him about Fukodome and he was like "I don't want to hear about Fukodome. I'm gonna start Theriot or Johnson or something. The kid's struggling. No use sending him out there anymore." Just kill the guy's confidence for life, Lou. lol.

Extremely nervous. Tomorrow will in essence decide our season. I'm not one of those fans that is satisfied with just getting here. I WANT TO WIN! Especially after 2005. The stakes are higher than they've ever been. I do expect Mark to pitch a good game. Can our offense get to Kaz? That's what worries me.

Z did pitch a pretty good game. His defense straight violated him tonight.
