  1. Anybody who thinks we don't need Eddy needs to record and save this game. We've got absolutely no low post offense. We can get by against the average to below average teams, but the elite teams, no way.
  2. Hinrich and Gordon are shooting horribly, Chandler has been a non factor, and we're still tied at 41 at the half. I like our chances to pull this one out.
  3. I love how he says "no disrespect."
  4. QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 03:23 PM) if we have any shot of winning the divison we have to have this game! Still though if we loose we are still in playoffs Go Bulls Forget about winning the division, it's not gonna happen. I think this is a winnable game. Not only are we at home, they're comin off a tough game yesterday with the Heat.
  5. QUOTE(Be Good @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 12:13 AM) I am pleasntly surpised so far the way Carl has played Why are you surprised? He's been getting it done for a while now.
  6. QUOTE(BridgeportHeather @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 01:07 AM) Shouldn't Gardenhire be a little nervous considering the fact that Silva is gonna be out for over half the season, so they're gonna have to go with a "patch-up" 5th starter for a great deal of time? They've been able to get it done despite having key guys hurt in the past.
  7. It's so nice to have speed this year.
  8. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 12:41 AM) I dunno, we kinda acquired Pods' girlfriend at the same time. I'd call that sexy...... Radke is right, it is only April. I'm glad we're playing well, but i've learned my lesson from past year's of starting out well only to end up in 2nd or 3rd place.
  9. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:58 AM) That depth is fading fast. Sooner or later, they'll have to start feeling it. True. We can't have anymore guy's go down. Playoffs are right around the corner.
  10. The potential of this pitching staff is so awesome. If they live up to it, we're in the post-season.
  11. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:46 AM) He said he doubted he'd be able to play. Well, even if he doesn't, one of the great things about this team is the depth. We've got different guy's stepping up every night. Even Adrian Griffin had a good game tonight. I still think we have enough to beat the Raps at home.
  12. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:47 AM) Gervin was, yes, but he still averaged 16 points a game, which is pretty solid for a player that was like 59 years old. Green also put up 13.5 PPG and 8.6 RPG that year too...which is not horrible at all. Cleveland doesnt have much more than that either. They have like 1 more rebounder then Chicago did that year, but that is about it. There seems to be more parity in the Eastern Conference this year then there was back in 85-86. 5 teams finished the season over .500 in 85-86...Cleveland is barely clinging on to a playoff spot at 1 game over. Well you can't really come to a conclusion on the 86 season. Mj played in 18 games. How many games do they win if he plays all 82? 38? 40? 45? Will never know. My point is that a star can't take all the credit when a team is winning and except none of the blame when they're losing. The Cavs were a top 4 seed for most of the season. You don't become s***ty in a few weeks. I don't know what's going on over there. Don't care really.
  13. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:40 AM) No Chandler. No Curry. No Deng. Easy win? The Raps are 9-29 on the road. Chandler is for sure not playing?
  14. 11 out of only 23 is not that good.
  15. QUOTE(rangercal @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:35 AM) bulls records W L 84-85 38- 44 85-86 31-51 (MJ Played 18 games) 86-87 43-39 They were 40-42 that year. And considering their second leading scorer was Charles Oakley, that's not that bad.
  16. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:35 AM) Woolridge, dailey, johnson all double digits in their careers and there were some pretty solid role players on that team but they were only 38-44. What gives? They were horrible defensively and didn't have the talent to match up with powerhouses of that time. Don't be fooled by double digit scorers. The Blazers have 5 or 6 guys who score in double figues and they suck.
  17. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:32 AM) George Gervin is only a hall of famer George Gervin was way past his prime by the time he got to the Bulls. And he was only there for one season.
  18. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:21 AM) You can also put some of the blame on Paxson and the rest of the front office. Firing Silas when it was working? Not getting a deal done at the deadline? He can accept some of the blame for it, but he is not entirely at fault. It's not his fault that he has a s***ty team around him. He is not a player/GM like Kobe. It's not a s***ty team though. Championship caliber? No. s***ty? I don't think so. That team should be good enough to make the playoffs in the east. I totally agree that this isn't ALL Lebron's fault. But when you're the star, you have to take the negative with the positive. When the Cavs were playing well all you heard was mvp talk. Now that they're sucking he has to take some of the blame.
  19. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:26 AM) Really? The bulls made it with a 30-52 record.. three years in a row of losing records and making it. It may not have been as bad then as it is now but 30-52 and still makign it is ridiculous. The cavs do not hav an abundance of talent. Two good players and then gooden who has been on three teams in three years for a reason. To be considered the next michael jordan you should not have have played a playoff game. Now do i think he will be as good? No. The closet thing to him? Yes. True. I don't know how they got in with that bad a record. But there were a lot more powerhouses then compared to today. The Cavs were the 3rd or 4th seed at the all-star break. There's no reason they shouldn't be a playoff team. I'm not saying it's Lebron's fault. But he's part of the team. Therfore he shares some of the blame.
  20. QUOTE(rangercal @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:25 AM) At least lebron has a few good guys around hime. Who the hell did MJ Have? Mj had Oakley and? That's about it. Lebron has an all-star center, a solid pf, and a solid guard in Mcginnis. This is not a title contender. But there's no reason this team shouldn't be in the playoffs. Weren't they the 3rd or 4th seed at the all-star break?
  21. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:20 AM) Losing record in his first three years in the league and he got in the playoffs. Not because they played well. The Cavs have more talent then any of those teams. Not to mention the east wasn't nearly as bad then as it is now.
  22. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:16 AM) How about you take a look at some of the records they got in with. 30-52 is just one of the bad seasons in jordan's early years. Jordan played in 18 games that year. Lebron is definitely not overhyped, but he's got to take some of the responsiblity for a horrible collapse by the Cavs. No reason in hell this team shouldn't be in the playoff. I wonder will he pull a b**** move and demand to be traded?
  23. The Rape Show was elimnated a few days ago.
  24. This should be an EASY win.
  25. When was the last time we got 4 outstanding starts like this in a row? God I love good pitching. Outstanding win! I've already fogotten about yesterday's dissapointment.
