  1. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 2, 2005 -> 07:02 PM) Tyson, AD, Noc, Kirk, Othella have all sucked. Don't forget Ben's 1 for 8. :puke
  2. Basically, we better take care of business at home, or we're done. For whatever reason, we simply don't play well on their court. We haven't put one decent quarter together all year on this court.
  3. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 2, 2005 -> 05:03 PM) Just heard duhon is a game time decision. Wtf? What's wrong with him?
  4. I have a good feeling about this game. I think we were due to lose game 3. We weren't gonna sweep this team. But I see the guys coming out with a serious purpose tonight. The Bulls take a lot of pride in their defense. And giving up 117 points was rather embarrasing. Look for a much better defensive effort and overall effort tonight.
  5. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ May 2, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) Clement sucks. Very overrated. Always pitched well enough to lose, was on the wrong side of thirty and was simply awful in the pennant push last year when he got benched I can remember countless games in which Clement pitched well enough to get the win and didn't because of little to no run support. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Clement won 15-17 games this season.
  6. I hope Jon continues to make me look like a fool for wanting to get rid of him. Congrats big Jon!
  7. Where Dbaho and Qwerty? Saying the Nets could possibly upset the Heat. lol. They didn't even really need Shaq to complete the sweep.
  8. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 2, 2005 -> 04:54 PM) just went on Bulls.com bought a ticket for $45 ( means I have beer money now ) thanks guys. I didnt even bother to check on bulls.com ( assumed all the tickets would be sold out) . thanks again No problem man. I figured you would be able to get a good ticket for under $100. Now if this was 1996, you would be lucky to get standing room for that price. lol
  9. I thought Duncan shoud've gotten it. I guess he missed too many games. Props to Big Ben, though.
  10. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 2, 2005 -> 04:43 PM) I would venture to guess you would be insanely lucky to get anything under $100, I really don't know though. Not really. These aren't the days of Michael when you had to insanely overpay to get Bulls tickets. He could probably get decent seats for that price.
  11. I think they have ticket info on Bulls.com. You should probably try that.
  12. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 2, 2005 -> 12:29 PM) What happened to the cubs having the best staff in the league? LMAO! I would definately take our staff over theirs over the course of this year. No Doubt. Funny how things could change in just one year. I bet they miss these guys too: Jon Garland 5 0 1.38 Dontrelle Willis 5 0 1.29 Matt Clement 3 0 4.00 Jamie Moyer 4 0 3.53 Jon Lieber 4 1 3.03 That's a combined 18-1! Life is just good right now! Losing Clement was big. He could've been a consistent 15 game winner had they givin him sufficient run support. Wood is overrated and not healthy. Prior is not healthy. Zambrano hasn't been as good as last year. Maddux always starts off slow. They have nobody that comes close as a replacement for Clement. And their bullpen is one of the worst in baseball. Not a surprise that they're team era is near 5. And yes, our staff is MUCH better than there's. Who would've thought that a year or 2 ago.
  13. Wow. The guy is simply a walking injury. They couldn't trade him if they wanted to, he's simply too fragile. Think they regret not resigning Clement now?
  14. QUOTE(knightni @ May 2, 2005 -> 02:48 AM) Brando was way too confrontational for my taste. Plus, he would get personal with people. But, I'm not going to "bust" on people who can't defend themselves. That would be unfair. I'm sure he's having fun at Northsidebaseball.com.
  15. QUOTE(soxfan420 @ May 2, 2005 -> 02:08 AM) i would have to say a closer? as it is our only real weakness besides injurys Shingo is fine, if not, we've got Hermanson. If we make any deals at the deadline, it should be for offense.
  16. QUOTE(CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 1, 2005 -> 08:13 PM) I have researched past threads on the topic of Jon Garland prior to this season. Below is a list of JG Haters and Lovers. If you dont see your name on the list it means I couldn't figure out where you stood by your posts or I saw no posts. Haters: Qwerty, Santo=dorf, KnuckleSox1, witesoxfan, Soxfest, Jordan4life_2004, babybearhater, Soxwatcher, EvilJester99, Soxnbears01, poorme, 1549, jeremyb, mreye, mmmmmbeeer, wharris1, Yoda, BigDub, Cubkilla, Aboz56, knightni, IndySoxFan Lovers : Jeckle2000, T R U , CWSGUY406, greg775, Dbaho, soxfan101, Yasny, JDsDirtySox, Kapkomet, Rowand44, ChiSoxFan, Heads22, Palehosefan, DanMan31, HammerheadJohnson, daSox24, BridgeportHeather, TexSox, Soxfan420, FlaSoxxJim, greasywheels161, Reddy, Jake, ChiSoxmatt, GeneHondaCivic, MurcieOne and of course CaliSoxfanViaSWside. This is just a sample list . A lot of the haters posted over and over. But many of the haters also said Jon would be fine with them as a 5th starter so it seems everyone got their wish , Jon is a #5 and is fulfulling his potential. I won't even try and act like I wasn't a Garland hater before this year. lol. I'll happily eat as much crow as you want.
  17. I thought the goal was for him to return by mid-May?
  18. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 28, 2005 -> 09:14 PM) Reggie w/ 33 as Indiana beats the Celtics to win 99-76. Pacers up 2-1 with game 4 on Saturday. Reggie simply boggles the mind. To play at this level at his age is amazing. He needs to come back for another year.
  19. So what does everybody think of the Bears overhaul on offense? New offensive coordinator=Ron Turner Free agent wr=Muhsin Muhammad Offensive line=Fred Miller, Roberto Garza Draft=Cedric Benson, Mark Bradley, Airese Currie, Kyle Orton Will the Bears offense be much better than last year? Can't get any worse, right? Will this be an offense capable of 21 ppg? I really think it will be. That, coupled with a healthy defense, and will make some serious noise in the NFC North.
  20. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 09:00 PM) Hinrich won't let this team lose. Credit Scott Skiles for benching Hinrich in the first quarter.
  21. AMAZING performance by Hinrich tonight. This team is something else. It's gotta drive coaches crazy, because you never really know who to prepare for. You think Eddie Jordan came into this game worrying about Pargo or Griffin? Or that Othella would dominate? That's one of two key differences between the two teams. The Wizards have 3 outstanding players in Hughes, Arenas, and Jamison, but that's all they have. ANYBODY on the Bulls can step up on any given night. Oh yeah, unlike the Wizards, we play a little defense, too. lol
  22. This is one of the main reason's baseball is my favorite sport. You don't have to wait around for 3 days to a week to avenge a bulls*** loss.
  23. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 12:37 AM) I think we might as well just call the season a wash. Forget the green?
  24. Rockets leads the Mavs 2-0, and they're going HOME. Mavs are in deep s***. T-mac has totally willed the Rockets to two wins.
  25. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Apr 25, 2005 -> 10:59 PM) Yeah, our offense hasn't come around, this is surprising that we're 16-4. But we all love it. And yes, everyone just enjoy it. This probably will be the only time in our lives that the Sox are .800 after 20 games. The pitching is no fluke. We have argubly the best staff in the american league. It's gonna be down right scary when the offense comes around.
