What I hope he says is that he's coming back and there is a deal in the works. What I think will happen is that he'll say he's going to test the market but "would like to stay in Chicago". If he does return I hope it's a two year deal with an option, around $10 million a year.

Based on some comments made by Konerko in the past, I wonder if this increases the chances he re-signs with the Sox.

I would hope that there were discussions about 2011 not being like 2010...in all capacities.

Caught up on all the shows on my DVR. I like The Event so far. I hope it doesn't turn into another Flash Forward. Undercovers was good. Fast-paced with great action and better dialogue. Overall it seems pretty light, unlike JJ Abrams other stuff (Lost, Fringe). Speaking of Fringe, great start to the season. I like that they are fleshing out the other universe. Plus, now there are two Anna Torvs!

The way that team clicked early in the year and in the playoffs, many managers could have helmed that ship. And as far as your comment about laughing at the rest of us when we second guess the next manager, of course we will second guess some moves. I'm sure you will, too. You can't tell me that you approved of every move and decision Ozzie made...or can you?
