  1. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 13, 2010 -> 03:32 AM) They will be frightened of us next year if we do well in this series. They may even talk to MLB officials to have the schedule changed to where they play KC and Cleveland more instead of facing us.
  2. 37. Feel like 27 some days, 47 other days.
  3. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 09:33 AM) Also, how often do you see the umpire make a pitcher remove a bracelet or a necklace? Yes, it happens from time to time, but was it just coincidence that they made Putz remove his bracelet in the eighth and Sale his necklace in the ninth last night? Or can it be that this crew is just looking for anything they can find to call on the Sox? I believe it's the latter. Supposedly Reinsdorf is buddies with Selig. It's time for JR to make a phone call. There's no doubt that umpire crew has something against Ozzie and/or the Sox. And, to make matters worse, they are childish about it. The phantom balks are one thing, but the necklace and bracelet thing is another. I find it humorous how most of the national media just says that Buehrle was called for two balks, instead of analyzing it and showing that there were no balks. I'm sure if Andy Pettite was called for two balks ESPN would have a 1/2 hour special on it.
  4. Ozzie had every right to explode on this umpire crew. Someone has to realize that something is up when a guy who almost never balks gets called for four balks in two games...when both games were umpired by the same crew. It doesn't take a keen sense to realize that the crew has it out for Ozzie and the Sox.
  5. If he's 98 lbs and throwing 100, he'll either slow down as he puts on weight or he'll end up knocking out catchers.
  6. Huge win. AJ comes through when we needed him. Morel with his first hit (a HR!). Joe West and his crew being assholes. Five back. Let's get 'em again tomorrow and root for Cleveland.
  7. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Sep 10, 2010 -> 09:36 PM) AJ coming on strong late in the season during a pennant race. He's got a lot left in the tank. I hope he's back next year. I agree.
  8. The Sox beat the Royals and Joe West's umpiring crew.
  9. How can that skinny kid throw that hard?
  10. That's okay. Let's get the out, Chris.
  11. I wasn't paying attention to his velocity. Is he letting it fly?
  12. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Sep 10, 2010 -> 09:26 PM) Q needs to sit for a while. Yeah, I'm totally cool with Andruw patrolling RF over Q.
  13. My wife is watching the game upstairs, and the TV up there is about 3 seconds ahead of the one I'm watching. I was hoping the screaming was a good thing.
