Not Steve Cishek, he who never met an exclamation point he didn't love, said that the Sox will certainly be making a move. He proclaimed the worst case scenario is a position player and bullpen help while the best case scenario is "beyond our wildest dreams". I can't for the life of me think of a move that would fit that description. To me, the biggest, least expected move would be Haniger. Any thoughts on a move so big Sox fans would shit their pants?

He would fit so well on this team. I don't see it happening, but it's a damn near perfect fit.

The HR was awesome, but what was really impressive was him taking two hits to left field during his first game. He seems to have good plate discipline and shows confidence up there. Hopefully he'll stick around at the MLB level for a while.

I'd love to see it. I wonder who might be available that a) makes sense for the Sox, and b) the Sox could actually acquire.

Even over the next week or so we may see some teams tip more toward selling than they had been recently (Cubs and Twins to name two). There will be some pretty interesting players available and several that make perfect sense for the Sox. I don't imagine we'll see any blockbusters involving the Sox. Maybe Escobar, some relatively unexciting OF help, and a reliever.

Looking back, it's hilarious how Donaldson pimped his home run only to see his team implode and get destroyed. Also, his next at bat ended with a comically bad sword (and one of the loudest cheers from the fans of the game). It was like a WWE storyline where the heel gets the better of the good guy over and over until he's soundly defeated at Wrestlemania.

Casual, awesome food (would love a good burger), big beer selection, and maybe interesting cocktails. No dietary restrictions. Just want to spoil ourselves. Thanks!

I don't know if there's a more unlikeable player in baseball than Donaldson. He always seems to have some smart ass thing to say or some dumbass gesture he has to make. Remember the whistle-blowing imitation a few years ago? Getting thrown out of a game for showing up the umpire after hitting a home run? Just being an ass at all times. He seems like a "me first" guy rather than being an ass for his team.

Looks like Bob may have gotten one right. But, as it's been mentioned before, this might have been a purposeful leak. Regardless, he'd be a nice addition, especially provided there are more moves made.
