I'm not sure what your post is aiming at. But I know Romney is for more immigration, but it is in the form of more guest workers. And yes, it could be argued that more guest workers are government interference with the supply and demand aspects of the labor market. On the other end of the spectrum is the view that anything but open boarders is government intrusion into the labor market.
Dont call yourself pro-capitalist or for economic freedom, unless you are for complete legal immigration.
Romney is just as much a socialist as Obama, he just wants to interfere in other ways.
Thats the point, when it comes to economics, you are choosing between socialist a or socialist b, which is why in my opinion this election isnt about economics at all, its about how much control should the govt have over American's daily life. And since Romney is more for govt intrusion in social life (restriction on abortion, restrictions on marriage) I cant vote for him.
I just find it amusing that he believes economic freedom doesnt include labor, or he never read Adam Smith.
