Again, refer to this thread for pitching knowledge: Rex Hudler's Cy Young System for knowledgeable and objective fans. Damn near unanimous in favor of Randy Johnson. If that ain't he best starting pitcher in the league, then you tell me who is.
-
That's because he was the best starter in the league this past year. The brightest baseball experts on this site will all tell you the same.

Those are Frank's 2000 stats. And he didn't win the MVP award. :headshake -

I should add that neither instance was too painful. The first time I got hit, I was on my way to baseball practice, and an illegal immigrant from Mexico (cops told me as much) made an illegal right turn on a red and nailed me while I was on my skateboard. I had a deep bone bruise on my left leg, but nothing too serious. Still though, I was limping around for more than a month. The second time I got hit, I was skating with my buddies in a hospital parking complex. The security guards spotted us, so we were trying to get the flock outta there & I ended up getting nailed by a car coming up the ramp. Deep bone bruise on my right leg. :headshake In retrospect, god damn was I dumb.

Things that happened to me throughout grade school: Broken ankle 2 concussions Got hit by a car twice 5 separate instances when I needed stitches I seriously don't know how I survived. Most of it was skateboarding-related. I played football for close to ten years, and I never had an injury.

Again, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman are NBA legends. Combine them with Jordan, and you have three of the five All-NBA Defensive Team starters in the nineties...the all-decade team. ALL-NBA DEFENSE I can't say that I agree with any of this. The Bulls won in spite of guys like Wennington, Williams, Longley, etc. Jordan taught these guys how to win? Since when is Jordan of the teaching mold? He'll school you in practice and talk s*** afterwards. He has straight up demoralized young players in the past. If anything, his competitive fire rubbed off on other veterans, but you make it sound like he was responsible for minimizing their mistakes. That's comedy. He said that Kobe has to prove that he can be the focal point of a championship team with a bunch of role players. If some of those role players are NBA legends (Rodman, Pippen), then yeah, I agree. But in my world, Kobe has to prove that he can even lead a team out of the first round with this supporting cast. f*** around and get manhandled by the Utah Jazz.
-
And why would anyone? Don't people realize that Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman were two of the greatest defensive players ever? Both are in the Top 50 greatest players ever, period? Why would Kobe win anything unless he had some all-time greats to play with? I'm confused by the masses, as always.

Yeah, tell me about it. He had those 6 blocks at the half.

It's a man, baby.

It almost reminds me of the all-guys high school I went to. Before long, dudes were salivating over decent-looking teachers. I never understood, and I never will.

Considering that Jorge Posada is a 33 year old catcher, the Yanks would be very fortunate to land Randy Johnson for him in a trade IMO. They could go out and get an Ausmus/Matheny type to replace him. They don't need his offense, that's for sure. Sheffield, Rodriguez, Jeter, Matsui, etc. They're already stacked. Throwing Randy Johnson into their starting rotation would put them in prime position to dominate in the playoffs next year. Playoff Rotation 1. Johnson 2. Mussina 3. Brown 4. Vazquez Yikes.

What the f*** are you talkin about? Are you nuts?? What the f***??? Tone it down a notch, buddy. You're too abrasive.

On NBC, they're interviewing some dude at the banquet hall where the Republicans are getting ready to celebrate at & there's some Garth Brooks or some such blasting in the background. That's comedy. Redneck noise, man. I need to get me some Motown...ya dig?

That's crazy.
