  1. quote=KipWellsFan,Apr 4, 2005 -> 02:11 AM] You and BigHurt act as thought I spam the boards with this stuff. If you review the last few pages of Sex, Lies and Politics I don't start threads that often, and contrary to popular believe they are never anti-american (criticizing or noting a problem isn't anti-anything). If anything you are the one who needs to shut up. If you have anything to add to the thread please do, but what you are doing now is pointless and to quote my good friend bighurt 'tactless'. I've been here forever and I'm not going to stop posting all of a sudden, because I won't let muzzling the opposition become commonplace. It's called bias, you dumbass. And I am exercising my free speech right to tell you that I think you are an ass, and I feel personally offended that an outsider like you constantly criticizes the US. "I'm just posting information". BULLs***! You must troll CNN, Yahoo News and all these others just looking for crap to post. Are you just a post-whore, trying to get your post count up? Don't start threads that often? In the last 2 weeks, I have 8 that have topics that seem just a little bit on the negative side. Oh, wait, you are just 'noting' a problem. You started posts on: Iraq inten 'dead wrong' 59 ex-us diplomats oppose Bolton No proof Anan knew of Deal Bid HS shooting in Red Lake, MN Sanctions preferred in Oil for Food corruption US Army releases details in 27 detainee deaths 20 amazing facts about voting in the US, and, of course, this thread. SHUT UP you whiny little Canadian prick. And yes, my replies are very tactless, and to the point, so maybe it can get thru your touque and into that syrup-addled brain of your that alot of people here are sick of your constant US bashing. And despite the anticipated defense you will now get from 3 or 4 posters, there are many here that want to say exactally what I did, but maybe have a bit more tact.
  2. And nobody wants to hear about American problems from a Canadian. So again, shut up.
  3. XM radio is has the MLB package, which is included in the base price, that is supposed to have all the games on it. It is radio, but better than nothing.
  4. Your country is f***ed up enough that you don't need to keep coming on here posting crap about America. At least you didn't but that stupid p instead of the o. Mad cow problems http://www.canada.com/news/oddities/story....84-dcec6a57d82e Possible Liberal party corruption http://www.canada.com/news/national/story....fc-be57449d20bc and http://www.canada.com/news/national/story....15-a3545b0912fd BIG problems in Canada's dealings with Kyoto. http://www.canada.com/news/national/story....e2-7298b34d6401 I love this paragraph: "Under the Kyoto treaty, Canada's average greenhouse emissions during the period 2008-2012 must be six per cent lower than levels in 1990. Currently emissions are at least 20 per cent higher than they were in 1990." 5. As long as Lute doesn't start lobbying the refs for fouls before breakfast, Illinois should win. For my wallet, they had better win! Last time they lost to AZ cost me a Lou Malnoti Chicago pack going out overnite to Tuscon. This time it is Carsons Ribs if Illinois loses. I want to keep the ribs for myself! I-L-L[/color]
  6. Of course you did, because it happened in America.

    Bowling

I ALMOST got your score, Witesoxfan. I got in a groove Saturday night, bowled my best game and series ever. I had a 290, 195 and 225 for a 710 series. Even though i was out of the running for a 300, I know how you felt in the 10th frame. After I got my first one in the 10th, I realized just what score I could get. Glad I was in a zone or something. I had to sub last night also, but alas, no 290 there. I did keep my 600+ series going, though with a 222, 221 and a 181. I'll get a 300 yet! Congrats again on yours. When you get the ring, put a pic of it up here.
  8. It's been 2 days, and no reply to this of any kind from KipWellsFan. He must be sick or something.
  9. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 04:58 AM) And sales comparing the Lincoln Navigator to the Prius? Or all Hybrids combined? Did he MENTION the Navigator? No, he said Hummer, the posterchild for consumption by those with too much money. But since you sort of asked, sales for all SUV's are down 21% from last month. But I am sure you can access google from that frozen waste of a country up north, so why don't you look it up for yourself? :finger http://cbs.marketwatch.com/news/story.asp?...gle&dist=google
  10. QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 09:16 PM) Let's see it's Patriotic to lower our dependence on foreign oil and thwarting terrorists. But we can not give up our Hummer's to go to market and lunch :headshake I think the 30,000 Hummers per year that are sold don't do as much damage to the environment as you might think. Especially considering that alot of them are bought by people with way too much money on their hands, and don't end up driving them that much anyway. Besides, the Prius is now beating the Hummer in sales, so some people are giving up their Hummers. http://slate.msn.com/id/2096191/ Here is a quote from the story: "sales rose to about 20,000 in 2002 and to 24,000 in 2003. Since the new 2004 model was introduced in the fall, the Prius has been stomping the Hummer. In November 2003, the Prius outsold the H2 by a 2-to-1 margin, according to Autodata."
  11. QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 09:53 AM) I can't recall the name of the movie, but it had Rob Lowe (I think), Demi Moore and Jim Belushi and was all Chicago ... even with 16" softball. It was called About Last Night.
  12. There was a Tom Hanks/Jackie Gleason movie set in Chicago called Nothing in Common. Nothing too fancy, just some good acting between the two in on of Gleason's last roles. But Ferris Bueler rules (except for the Wrigley scenes).
  13. http://www.libraryjournal.com/article/CA50...ay=breakingNews So, can the EU give Google a fight?
  14. Why expect mediocrity. Hell, I can't even spell it!
  15. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 06:14 AM) Like you can in the "Only liberal comics" thread after I debunked your claim as partisan hackery bulls***. The only debunking you did was note that the guy regarding Hillary mentioned rape and murder, while the WHoopie one I mentioned did not. Both are in bad taste, or it it just a matter of degrees for you? I found nothing funny in his comments about HIllary, just as I found nothing funny in Whoopie spending 10 minutes saying "I hate Nancy-f***ing Regan". Cubkilla was the one that took you off on a personal detour.
  16. He should probably be the first one called if/when someone fails or is hurt, but for now, he should go back to the minors. According to himself, he hasn't mastered his changeup yet, although he used it pretty damn well last time out. He will be in the show soon, and it should be a pleasure to watch.
  17. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 05:31 AM) Don't like the posts, don't waste your time responding. Just trying to balance out all the posts that target 'conservatives'. And to tweak Kip a little bit, since he ticks me off coming here slamming the US for every slight, real or imagined. :finger
  18. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...d_canada_usa_dc No additional comments needed. For now.
  19. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 03:21 AM) This has something to do with being liberal? Way to cherry-pick from that to the one statement that probably stuck in your craw. No comments on him being let go after admitting to killing the women? After DNA evidence was there? About his statements that seem to make HIM out to be the victim here? Anything? Try to stay focused. I know its hard, but you can do it!
  20. http://www.dailytelegraph.news.com.au/stor...storyid=2796000 Tjhese lines just amaze me: Outside the court yesterday, Simpson said: "I'm relieved to go home. I've got two disabled kids and I just want to live my life and be left alone by the police," he said. "I've had a rough time. My wife's been through hell. "If you haven't been in jail you don't know what it's like to be locked up in cells, no TVs and radios. "I've never been in trouble before... I can never replace that 16 months." What about the people he KILLED! I bet they can't replace those 16 months either. I am suprised that this wasn't Canada.

    more hypocracy

http://www.sj-r.com/Sections/News/Stories/49173.asp Does anyone really believe this woman that she didn't know what to do with it when she found it? Maybe she is trying out for a part in the female version of Death Wish.
  22. http://www.laweekly.com/ink/05/08/news-krassner.php WHile I will be the first to agree that the joke(s) are bad, in poor taste, etc., what is so different from those and the things I hear other comedians say about Bush, etc? I heard a Whoppie Goldberg routine where for 5 minutes all she says is "f*** Nancy Regan! I hate that b****! I just want to strangle her!" Hypocracy, at its ugliest. Definitly NOT at its funniest.
  23. QUOTE(winodj @ Mar 11, 2005 -> 02:41 PM) I think there oughta be an investigation - and if the ignorance defense is true, the dozen other congresspeople oughta get some sort of censure.... But DeLay is facing his fourth ethics violation within a 12 month time span. That's just ridiculous. And he's under investigation for a possible felony indictment too. I can't find the story, but I thought I read that this trip in question was in 2001. Not that it makes the trip itself any better, but this 'violation' would have taken place 4 years ago.
