Here are the lineups: Ozuna 3B Iguchi 2B Rowand CF Konerko 1B Everett LF Dye RF Widger C Uribe SS El Duque Rox Sullivan CF Relaford SS Helton 1B Holliday LF Hawpe RF Atkins 3B Garabito 2B Ardoin C Francis Glad to see Gooch back in the lineup. I knew Pods would get the night off.

All I know is, we be in deep s*** if anything ever happened to Konerko.
-
Don't mean to make light of the recent injury to Barmes, but I actually remember some of these...

QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 10:53 PM) Konerko needs a rest at least one game a week who else are we going to play at 1B I think PK will be playing. He's been hitting well at Coors, plus there's an off-day tomorrow. I think Pods will get the day off, just my hunch. I think Ozzie will try and get Carl some PT. Also, Ozuna/Willie will be at 2B since Iguchi has a bad back and could use the back-to-back off days. Probably Ozuna, since the lefty is going. All right, enough managing. Let's sweep these f***ers and go to SD with 40 wins!!!

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 8, 2005 -> 09:10 AM) If Iguchi goes down, you might get a surprise call up. We need someone who can play 1B, so my guess would be the Greatest, Greg Norton. It also helps that he plays 3B too. Ricky Gutierrez?

Finally reached that elusive 20 games over .500!!! Anyone want to join me on the Neal Cotts bandwagon? Anyway, I don't think Ozzie will mess with the lineup. There's an offday Thursday, so he'll probably be going for the kill. However, Everett will probably be out there tomorrow for Pods with the lefty going. Just a hunch.

QUOTE(robin_ventura_eternal @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 03:45 PM) nah, he wont play frank, cause franks ankle is still shaky and the rockies blow a fat dick this year. and if its true that frank isnt concerned about PT, and i assume it is, i dont see why he wont sit. you just got to remember that the rockies are the worst team in the league this year, even worse than the royals. frank is in good shape, i could tell from the games the other day he played in, he just cant play the feild yet cause that lateral movement might f*** him up again. ozzie'l wait til the next series, my money says. Nice name.

For those that care... http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb Finally, someone deserving of a start is in the lead. Abreu knocks out Griffey to take over the third OF spot. Eckstein is slowly catching up to Nomah.

No excuse not to light up Byun Hyun Kyun or whatever his f***ing name is. Hopefully the bats continue to stay hot from last night. Wonder if Carl will be playing.
-
FREDDY: FLAT OUT AWESOME!!! This may be the perfect series for Sox' bats to wake up. Uribe really looked liked he was coming around. If our hitting and pitching are in sync, we can get on a big roll. Anyway, let's get over 20 tomorrow finally!!

Sad news from the Rockies....

QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jun 6, 2005 -> 05:22 PM) f*** torii hunter, i hope i never see him in an all star game. im gonna be laughing when pujols is ahead of dlee in the standings You may be laughing, but no player deserves to go more than Lee. He's winning the NL Triple Crown right now.

ESPN.com article on the high-socks/stirrups look. Oh yeah, BMac is mentioned. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=lukas/050602

QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jun 6, 2005 -> 04:07 PM) any NL updates? tomorrow.

Should have ordered through Peapod.

Yes, it seems we do have an advantage. Barring any changes, here are the matchups in San Diego: Friday: Garland v. Darrell May Saturday: Buehrle v. Woody Williams Sunday: Garcia v. Brian Lawrence Luckily, they're two best pitchers are throwing against the Tribe.
-
Garcia v. Kennedy Count v. Kim Duque v. Francis I like the first two, but Francis is a crafty lefty and he may give them trouble. But first things first. Let's get the trip started off in style with a win.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jun 5, 2005 -> 09:45 AM) Today's official Lineup White Sox 3B Ozuna 2B Iguchi DH Thomas 1B Konerko LF Everett RF Dye CF Rowand C Widger SS Uribe If this lineup is correct, then you have Thomas getting some ABs before he rides the pine for the next 6 games and you have Carl getting some (gulp) time in in the outfield. Also like the fact we don't have to see Crediocre. I'm predicting a 2-1/3-2 victory for Sox heading into Denver.

1-0 on a sac fly. Bad throw by Pods.
-
Infield hit for Hafner. 1st and 3rd. 1 out.

I'd like to see Scooter explain a Frisbee!
