  1. alternative, punk, and metal for me.
  2. No question, but in that same sentence because he went the way of the dollar bill, he's also one of the worst NBA coaches in the history of the game.
  3. and there it goes... http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/bo...s_bos&fext=.jsp
  4. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1805818 I feel bad for Golden State. I had to go through with the bonehead college coaches in the NBA once with Rick Pitino and we all know how that ended up. How many seasons until he's fired? 1? 2?
  5. For all you Freddy Adu lovers: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=301323&cc=5901
  6. 2003 Pierzynski: OPS: 824 OPS w. RO: 801 OPS w. RISP: 934 OPS (road): 867 OPS (night): 795 GIDP: 13 SB: 3 CS: 1 Defense: average Baserunning: below average Clubhouse: team leader X-Factor: He's a better player than Sandy Alomar, he's a lefty, he can be had for very little while still probably being able to give up a contract ala Lee or Konerko.
  7. this was what i was thinking the entire time.
  8. Brando, you've had the knack on me since day one. You dont have to like me, you dont have to agree with me, but you dont have to add stupid humorless statements that are 100% irrelevant to the thread at hand. I dont like soccer, you do, great tell me why i should think 0-0 ties 90% of the time are exciting?
  9. Benson ahead of Garcia, hmm. Benson must be available real cheap.
  10. AJ Pierzynski would be an ideal fit.. he's a lefty who tears apart right handed pitching... You have a platoon of Olivo and Pierzynski with Olivo getting the majoirty of games against lefties. It makes perfect sense, especially since he signed a long term deal with the Giants and he's not playing too well, meaning he could be had for virtually nothing.
  11. He's got 13 home runs!? damn.
  12. 28 strike outs in t-ball is impressive, 28 strike outs in college softball, wow ;p
  13. I think the Expos would be best suited for Portland. They have a huge fan base when it comes to basketball, they have an already built stadium that could hold 25-30 thousand for the next few years while there true home is being built, and they also have the room for a stadium inside the city of Portland. My vote goes to Portland!
  14. Las Vegas already has a minor league team called the "51's"
  15. I was sort of surprised to, although he did put in 5 solid seasons with the Red Sox, I dont know if that warrants his number being retired. What warrants his number being retired is the fact that he's a Massachusetts boy, everyone loved him, and he was Boston legend.
  16. Yea, even the offer JR proposed was a bit much when I think back to it.
  17. soccer is the most boring sport around, that being said, i dont care about Freddy Adu until the World Cup comes around where i'll actually watch.. highlites.
  18. #25 being retired in Fenway next season after Ellis Burks retires... I never saw this kid play, but im sure of some of you have, thoughts?
