He has been getting a lot of love on baseball tonight if that means anything. During the KC game his plays were like number 4 and 2 on the top 5 web gems. Than he wasnt a web gem but they showed his KC plays and tiger plays on defense and HR on baseball tonight on Monday.

QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 12, 2006 -> 07:46 AM) It's called DVR... unless your too cheap to shell out the extra few bucks to your cable company... Or go to the dollar store and by some VHS tapes... Either way you have no excuse... I dont know about most of you, but for me taping the game isnt the same as watching it live. Even if I havent looked at the score or anything and have no clue what happened..... I cant watch a game that isnt live or some kind of classic. Also responding to someone else I am a college kid :banghead It just happens that Mon. and Wed. are the 2 days im in school until 4.

QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Apr 12, 2006 -> 04:27 AM) I love B-ham's big three in Broadway, Lumsden and Liotta. That has go to be one of the best three somes in the league. and its not like Malone or umm is it Rodriguez I always forget his name are scrubs either. There is going to be a lot of low scoring games for our double A team this year when you look at their offense too.

On avg. I use them 2-3 times. Although sometimes only once and sometimes 4 times. I dont really go over 4 and usually like I said its within the 2-3 range.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 02:58 AM) You dont have the pitching to be as good if not better. I wouldnt say that.... Bonderman and Verlander are both absolute filthy. Rogers has shown he can still pitch and being out of the Texas heat should only help. Maroth is a decent pitcher good guy for back of the rotation. Robertson sucks but besides that yeah.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 06:54 PM) Hes not going to AAA. Its obvious either he is hurting, or mentally he needs some rest. Hes a big leaguer, he will figure it out. Better players than pods have been sent to AAA to figure stuff out. And it would be more of an extended spring training kind of not permanent. -

Im starting to seriously think Pods might be better off spending some time in AAA figuring things out.... only problem is we really have no one to replace him with especially since Mackowiak is struggling a lot. And Owens seems to be slumping too. -

QUOTE(POPPY_HIDALGO @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 06:21 PM) Bonderman really is a beast. I hope to one day see him in a Sox uniform. I wonder what Coop could get out of him. He's such a raw talent! More likely him and Verlander will be the terrible 2 for us for many years to come. -

QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 05:34 PM) I really think Detroit is going to be a very good team this year. I like them better than minnesota and cleveland. Did you like the Orioles more than the Red Sox and Yankees at the begining of last season? -

I like Mackowiak and all.... but so far you would think he is an everyday player. I like how Ozzie makes sure everyone gets involved and playing time but seriously we need the regular lineup getting time together. Pods Iguchi Thome Konerko Dye AJ Crede Uribe Anderson -
Like other people have said he by far would be the hardest player to let go. Moreso than Konerko and it isnt even really close to me.

I really think we not only can but should win the last 2 games of this series. But Garcia especially with how he looked last start vs a Detroit offense thats been very good to say the least so far. And than to make things worse Bonderman is pitching and I think this year he will win 16-20 games.

QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 06:01 AM) Wow... just wow... I feel sorry for all of the brainwashed MVP lemmings... Not only are the Graphics so much better on 2K6, the controls are awesome... Swing stick took awhile to get used to. I also love the more realistic pitching... and how they incorporate natural breaks and movements to the pitches... MVP 2K5 was the most baseball game to come around since triple play. It was an awful game that I had to take back after one week because the PS1 graphics and horrible controls made me vomit every time I turned on my PS2... I'm feeling really sorry for you people... Ummmm ok??? There is a reason why everyone loves MVP but you.. it is so far ahead of the 2k6 its ridiculous. Although from a lot of people MLB the show or whatevr has looked pretty good and a much better buy than 2k6.
