If he sucks this much the whole season i wouldnt mind if he becomes our 4th OF next year, and Rowand can play RF with Anderson taking over in CF. Dye :puke But seeing as that we are only done with 1 month of baseball, ill give him another to start turning things around.

I just started a new team, Did a draft on MVP level. The theme of the team is 25 and under C:Guillermo Quiroz... some 23 year old catcher from toronto 1B: Mark Teixiera 2B: Luis González... the guy from colorado SS: BJ Upton 3B: Adrian Beltre LF: Alber Pujols CF: Carl Crawford RF: Miguel Cabrera Starting Rotation: Rich Harden, Josh Beckett, Zack Greinkie, Danny Haren, Gustavo Chacín Bullpen: K-Rod, Jessie Crain, Homer Bailey, Huston Street, couple other young studs Bench: i went with some old guys Ruben Sierra, Fred McGriff, John Flaherty, and than a guy i like Ryan Freel. so far 2-1.... 1st inning pitching has been bad gave up HR's in the 1st inning in every game, Harden ended up being the only run he gave up the whole game, but Greinkie gave up a 3 run shot in the 1st and 3rd.

Im guessing Owens isnt looking overmatched anymore since it seems he has been hitting the ball really well, but how has Young looked at the plate?

You guys are using Borchard as a reason JR wont take a risk, I use it as a reason that he will take a risk on a guy like Drew or Weaver. Now Borchard hasnt worked out like we all planned, but he has worked his ass off and has spent time taking part of sox events like that fundamentals thing......If a guy works his ass off as much as Borchard does thats all you can ask for, and maybe he is thinking that giving these guys the money will give them the incentive to work as hard as Borchard has, but hopefully turn out ok. Also isnt the reason Ryan Sweeney fell to us in the 2nd round was because of signing problems?

yeah him and Rowand are starting to look better at the plate, hopefully they get it together soon because if they hit our offense will be fine.

this win was awesome......only complaint was getting the bases loaded with no outs and not scoring....

you have to be smart with it, trade a expensive guy for a lesser expensive guy, than trade that guy for a cheaper guy and so on. I get all the trades i want most of the time.

I must of had a dream he signed with the Giants :banghead, Flutie is an awesome backup QB because if he has to fill in for one game he is amazing since defenses arent ready for what he brings.

If Owens keeps hitting this way it would be cool if he ended up in AAA at the end of the year..... So far it seems like a good trade since all we lost was Escobar.

our playoffs end with Miami... enuf said, To say we have a good chance against them would make you a homer..... There is always a chance, but we have as much chance in beating them as Memphis does to beat Phoenix or Philly beating Detroit, or the Nets beating the Heat.... not good odds. We would probably even lose in 5-6 games if Curry and Deng were healthy too, so without them... we might get swept.
