  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 09:56 PM) That one was absolutely awesome. How were they ignoring the past ones? I just saw an episode where they are going to a university on Mars and Fry acts like he has never been there and they can breathe oxygen, when they had been there in the past because Amy's parents live there.
  2. QUOTE (Felix @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 09:03 PM) New Futurama > The Decision Even though Im super happy they are making new episodes, it seems like they completely have ignored the past ones.
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:23 PM) As soon as Cowley mentions the no-hitter...poof! He really has taken over Jay Marrioti's spot as most hated here
  4. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:19 PM) Sucks to be you if that actually bothers you. I think its annoying to everyone because of how stupid a nickname it is
  5. Agreed, a bat should still be the first concern, if KW finds a way to bring in both so be it but the first priority is a bat.
  6. Im with others in the camp that Ill almost just be happy with Lebron anywhere but Miami, of course being ecstatic if he does land here. I hope after he makes an announcement that the Bulls instantly make a phone call to Morrow.
  7. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:16 PM) So which is it, do you think he is a quality starting pitcher who is having a lot of success recently or do you think is is someone who is pitching like s***, leaving his pitches up, and lost velocity? Because earlier in the thread you said this..... So we shouldn't get him because he is too good and will cost a lot, or because he is too bad and will cost a lot? Which side of the fence are you on? I almost want to block you because of your sig mentioning it and you constantly calling Viciedo HoT FiRe
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 02:01 PM) They're literally the same. Jeter's not clutch, he just hits like he usually does in the playoffs. Something to consider though in playoffs you are facing more elite pitching so hitting his regular season avg. against elite pitching can in a way be considered clutch
  9. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:28 PM) If KC Johnson would've posted the bulls last, at least 8 people here would say "This is bulls***, nobody knows anything right now" Lol he can say Lebron 100% to Chicago and Ill say bulls***, tomorrow Im keeping myself busy until after I know Lebron has made an announcement.
  10. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:33 PM) Ha, there's so much BS floating around right now. I'm sure NY, Miami, Chicago, and Cleveland all feel they have a shot right now. Yeah and I think unless Lebron publicly says otherwise they all do have a shot and add NJ as well.
  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:51 PM) Do you really expect Freddy to keep up this pace the rest of the season? He isnt doing anything that spectacular, mid 4's era isnt much to ask him to sustain for the rest of the season. Im going to wait and see how Hudson looks before I jump to any conclusions.

QUOTE (The Gooch @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 05:24 PM) I haven't seen it in a really long time, but I remember dislikng Man in the Iron Mask. Besides that Dicaprio chooses great movies, and I can't imagine most of the movies he was in being nearly as good without him in them. Catch Me If You Can and The Aviator being two great examples of that. I enjoyed it actually, saw it during plane trips like 5 times. Wasnt the best of movies but was a fun movie, plus anything about the musketeers is badass.
  13. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 03:20 PM) The odds of him coming here are not high, even you have to admit that. How can you even know that, from the sounds of it only Lebron knows what he really wants to do how can anyone legitly calculate odds.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 02:33 PM) Also Critters 3. I only really look at him from Titanic and past, because thats when his career really took off.

QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 02:24 PM) Trying to think of a bad Decaprio movie ?... The Beach is pretty bad
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 5, 2010 -> 08:05 PM) Steve Phillips doesn't look as stupid anymore. Well, Kazmir was productive for a good 3 years... Nah he still looks plenty stupid lol, if nothing else could of gotten much better return than Victor Zambrano.
  17. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 01:26 AM) Wait, what? Really? Lol I dont mind receiving it, but I dont get why some love giving it so much, to clarify.
  18. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 10:53 PM) A female friend informs me she really wants to give head. I say, why are you telling me this? Go suck a dick... easy situation to fix. She says she can't, because she doesn't have one to suck. I say what's wrong with you? Go outside, and the first male you see, get his attention and inform him of your situation. He will gladly oblige you. Possibly even if he's gay. Lol Id imagine that was her attempt to get you in bed, I still dont get why some girls like giving head in the first place.
  19. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 11:40 PM) Reports are that Ladd may go too. Up to 14 teams have inquired/are interested in him. Im really hoping now that Buff and Versteeg were traded we can hold on to Ladd unless the trade offer is too good to pass up. It sounds like to me though they should have enough room to keep Ladd and Hjalmarsson and still be able to afford Seabrook and Sharp in the future.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 02:24 PM) Where would you put Anthony? As your SG? Lebron or Anthony would obviously be the PF in that scenario.
  21. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 01:03 PM) C- Toby Hall 1B- Mark Kotsay 2B- D'Angelo Jimenez SS- Orlando Cabrera (Not really sure here. Can't possibly hate Valentin or Graffanino, Alexei is boneheaded but likable. Others like Alex Cintron were too irrelevant.) 3B- Wilson Betemit OFs- Darin Erstad/Dewayne Wise/Nick Swisher/Rob Mackowiak/Timo Perez SP- Javier Vazquez SP- Danny Wright SP- Orlando Hernandez SP- Scott Schoeneweis SP- Batrolo Colon (mainly round 2 and his mysterious disappearances) Bullpen...Where to begin? Well, with Randy Williams obviously, but we have had some awful relievers over the years Randy Williams Cliff Politte Mike Jackson Rick White (not really a whipping boy, but man he was bad) Billy Koch Scott Linebrink Mike MacDougal Jose Panigua Jose Vizcaino (probably not as bad as the rest, but when your nick name is the "Jizz Can" you gonna have a spot here) Damaso Marte (another one who who wasn't terrible, but a whipping boy in 2005 he was) Not sure how Wilson Betemit plays but Alex Cintron is too irrevelant? El Duque is loved here and the way he got out of jams was just unbelievable and I think more people hate Colon for leaving the first time than his forgetable 2nd stint with the wsox.
  22. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 11:04 AM) You're not winning any championships with that team. You'd need a big 3rd move. Your not guaranteed any championship with that team but its definitely a contender. I would love to get Lebron but the Bulls definitely still have options if he doesnt come to Chicago, although I was also hoping for Bosh too.
  23. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 10:57 AM) Yeah, you're in big trouble if you don't get Bosh or LeBron. Not specifically, could still sign Boozer/Amare at PF and Joe Johnson at SG and we have a pretty solid team. Those 2 would even allow us to make a 3rd move.
  24. Really I guess the 3 nominees have to be Kotsay, Teahen, and Randy Williams since most people are still hoping for Beckham to pan out. The way I see it is Randy Williams has too little impact and if all goes right will be gone in a few days so have to take him out and Teahen with his injury makes the clear winner Kotsay who is an automatic double play with a runner on 1st.
  25. QUOTE (WCSox @ Jun 29, 2010 -> 09:22 PM) Teahen gives Kotsay a run for his money. It's not even close, the only way Teahen would have a shot is if Kotsay gets cut in the near future.
