Was just looking at some statistics of the board. The last registered member registered on July 12, 2017. Quite a bit of time ago. The users who have posted in this gaame thread are all relatively old registered users. 2-3 are from 2013/2014/2015 range, but generally all who post in this game thread have been from before 2010. When the Sox get good in a year or two we will have to go on a wide recruiting campaign for Soxtalk... or it might just pick up naturally .

As a fan of both teams, hoping for a Cubs W to help their chances for playoffs and help our chances for #1 draft choice. Hoping for Moncada to have some nice at bats in this series and also going to keep a watch on Tim Anderson. When did the Cubs sign Babe Ruth? :P

It was an OK match. I don't think it was great or even entertaining, but it did it's job. The problem really hasn't been the matches, but more so how boring both competitors are, how jinder was thrown into the title, and how long the program has now gone on with it being the same thing over and over (randy is strong, randy gets mad, jinder finds way to escape). I think Jinder is doing an excellent job with his character, but he has the fact that no one wants him to be champion because he was thrown into it going against him.

Oh btw, the best thing that WWE had with the returning John Cena was really to face him off against the returning Rusev in a flag match? A copy of Jinder Mahal vs. Orton storyline, and a feud done to death?

^^ Yeah, Naomi has a coolish gimmick, but she's soiling on the mic. Styles vs. Owens match ends in a very weird way. Not sure what the hell happened or what the hell the point was to have AJ beat Owens at a house show only to lose the title to him at the PPV. Just doesn't make sense.

So criminal what they are doing to the woman's division. In the 5 way, 3 straight eliminations (spanning 30 seconds) then a natayla vs charlotte fight for Happy with Natayla vs. Naomi tho. That's cool at least.

I believe there is only a 10% chance that Mahal loses tonight to Orton. I think there is a greater chance of MITB cash in by Corbin, then Orton losing, although I don't think will see a clash in either. Mahal vs Orton has now have 3 matches on PPVs with Mahal obviously winning the first two. While there isn't really a good outcome tonight (orton sucks as champ, Mahal sucks as champ) I can't imagine what they'd do with Orton as champ. I think SS is heading towards Cena vs. Mahal, which, while boring, at least makes sense. I think AJ Styles vs. Nak might be a realistic shot at happening at SS (which I hopeeeee they wait for a Wrestlemania world championship match instead). There's just too many stars and not enough time to present them. The woman's 5-way match is exemplary of that. We've seen so many multi woman matches it has destroyed my interest in the division (I was very high on the division during Alex Bliss smack down reign and shortly after when Charlotte went to SD. I thought they could have done A LOT of cool things with Charlotte/Naomi and Becky vs. that heel group, ah well.). Just look at the logic here: We have Carmella winning MITB (controversy aside he....), then she doesn't even get a spot in the #1 contender match? Why? What about Naomi, why is she not defending the title... against anyone.... except Lana which is the least deserving of the wrestlers. If they had time, maybe they could of had a program running through MITB with Naomi vs. Natayla. Great sets of matches, making the championship feel real, meanwhile we have the MITB still, we can still have the #1 contender match etc. Just not enough time to make the division meaningful.

Critic, I like your storyline much better than what WWE laid on us. Tonight is "battle ground" more like rematchamania. Not a single match up excites me. Aj Styles vs. Owens should be good, and there should be some decent wrasslin' going on, but my God, there is not a single feud on that PPV that is worth my time. Worst one might be Cena/Rusev part III.

Why do this? Trade two OFs for Two OFs ? That doesn't make sense. I'd consider trading any/all of Melky/Avi/Swarzak for something like Carson Kelly + Oneil. Not sure HOW good Kelly is tho. He seems touted highly.

I would only bring up the minor league arms if we are sure that they are bored / no use in the minors. This team needs to tank!! It's all about what is best for the main prospects now. If they'd benefit from being up in the majors, then bring them up, otherwise keep them where they are at. Of course, I don't get paid the big bucks to make that decision.
