our CWS are two games below .500. We are behind the surging Guardians for third place in the division. We are 5.0 games behind the first place twins. We are 64 games into the season, leaving 98 games left. We are facing the very tough blue jays. this is not the season we expected. I expect us to go 0-3 or 1-2 this series. Would be surprised at winning two games. Also don't look now, but our next competitors, the Orioles, are playing some of their best ball.

pitchers can win the game on their own, but they are incredibly risky in both projections and injury risk IMO. so in an ideal world, a no injury, no bust perfect starting pitcher is the #1 weapon. but we don't get a real world, so it's often easier/smarter to build with hitters a la astros think of DET and Kansas city right now who had an abundance of SP prospects and now look a bit like fools

All has been said - team is RIP right now. What needs to happen is both TLR and the hitting coach fired ASAP. We all know that the organization needs a rehaul, but we aren't going to have Jerry/Hahn/KW gone.. their staying, so the best we can hope for is TLR/Hitting coach fired. Please just do that for us.

We should get destroyed in this game. Manoah will eat us alive and Cueto will serve some regression. With that being said, the baseball gods will have us win this to avoid the rare sweep somehow :rolleyes:.

These are really excellent steps that would make me interested in the organization again. With this being said, I don’t think it’s possible that the white sox acquire reynolds

I didn't like Keuchel the moment the signing was announced and i heavily dislike him now. Good riddance and one of the dumbest signings from a dumb organization.
