QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 05:18 PM) Actually you are right. The starting lineup has been changed up for tonight. C-Chandler PF-Nocioni SF-Deng SG-Hinrich PG-Duhon Or not...

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 06:52 PM) Must be the Good Charlotte look. They broke up like nine years ago. Get with the times.

QUOTE(Felix @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 04:27 PM) You kidding? Pierre would be the worst defender in just about any outfielder (maybe, just maybe, Damon would be lower than him) LOLOLOLOLOL. You think a weak arm means you are automatically a bad defender. Amazing.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 04:24 PM) Cause he's a far superior PF than Songalia. I really like this Bulls lineup. Noc may not be really big, but he's strong enough and tough enough to guard most PF's and he'll have quickness on them on the offensive end. ? Nocioni is starting at small forward.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 04:23 PM) He was one of the biggest disappointments in all of baseball last year. Check out that on-base percentage. You want that, coupled with bad defensive play, as a member of your 2006 outfield? You can have it. Bad defense means weak arm right? Does rowand have bad defense because of the s*** arm he had shown all last year? Pierre would be our second best outfielder.

Realistically thome seems to be too big of a crap shoot unless they eat two thirds of the entire contract... not just half. I still really don't see delgado getting moved this season. Makes little sense to me. Just have a hunch neither thome or delgado will ever be on the white sox.

Double over rowands head or flares in front of him for a single? Hmm... It is amazing how we have a guy on our team who is one of the top outfielders at getting to the ball ( far and away too) that we try and downplay his defense. His arm blew this past season and he still has not learned how to field a ball on the ground... but getting to balls? Wouldn't want anyone other than him outside of hunter and maybe sizemore.

Vlad is better than pujols too...

QUOTE(3E8 @ Nov 15, 2005 -> 03:41 PM) The Laguna Beach cast was at Zero Gravity (weirdo teenage dance club in Naperville) last week. Zero gravity is like 90% polish ( why?!?!?)... smells kinda funny there...

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 15, 2005 -> 03:30 PM) What exactly does the Laguna Beach have to do with reality show? This show reminds me of the real world which was originally a reality show. They say they don't try and interfere with anything but i choose to believe they script some of it. Real world was one of the very first reality shows and set the path for bad t.v. I know people that actually care about these spoiled ass brats like they are friends with them... it is quite sad and disturbing.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 14, 2005 -> 05:16 PM) You cannot be at your best every single series or every single game of the season, but your team needs you to be at your best in the playoffs. Your team needs you to be at your best in game 5 of the division series. If you're the highest paid player in baseball, and you come up in the 9th inning of game 5 with a runner on 1b in a close game, you cannot GIDP. That has nothing to do with not being your best. That has something to do with not being the worst. So one or two series defines what kinda player he is? That seems very unfair.

QUOTE(bighurt2719 @ Nov 14, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) welcome to america. i can say and think whatever i want. if i want to hate maggs, i can. i can hate arod too. but you wouldnt have it that way, would you, communist. everyone has to agree with you. way to be the man in this and sling mud first (completely unprovoked). O.K.

QUOTE(bighurt2719 @ Nov 14, 2005 -> 04:53 PM) thank you. he's not worth the money. There is not another player i rather give that amount of money to ( if i had to choose) other than pujols at this point. Players cannot be at their best every single series or every single game of the season... i know it is hard to believe... but it's true. Yankess fans want him gone at this point. If they want they can trade him to us and he can hit his 65 home runs here.
-
People that hate a-rod simply because of his contract need to be slapped upside the head. It's not like he doesn't go out there and bust his ass every single game. Sure... he disappeared in the playoffs the last two years. But where would the yankees been with slightly less production from their three hole hitter? Home watching the first round on t.v.

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Nov 11, 2005 -> 08:41 PM) And his home ballpark in AAA, IIRC, plays like a pitcher's ballpark while the Cell plays like a HR hitter's ballpark. How many HR's did ARow have in Coors Light Field? Quite the contrary on on charlotte's field. It is an extreme hitters park... just not for the right team most times.
