QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 11:25 PM) That's stupid. Grr... The stubborness of some people absolutely piss me off so much! (Not you Rowand or Yasny, talking about Ozzie a bit here). Didn't Konerko strike out more than Lee? Gosh, did he make himself into such a complete player -- power, plate discipline, contact, and defense -- he improved himself in every year at one point in time with the Sox. And all we got was a journeyman CFer with one good season, and a solid reliever. A little frustrating, but as they say, life goes on... I feel your pain, i really do.

QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 11:17 PM) One half game out of the playoff spot at this point. On wensday we need the rapotors to beat the celtics and for the bulls to beat the sixers and we would have the eigth seed.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 09:44 PM) IMHAOIO Wtf?

QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 10:48 PM) "...Peter, I'm holding hooters" I have something that may interest you then.

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 10:41 PM) but id say Rose and Donyell Marshall > AD.... and i bet we could of shipped rose along with crawford to NY lol they will take anything.. but seriously though Rose is a lot easier to trade than AD. Ad has zero trade value at this point. Only one more year of him until he is off the books thankfully.

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 10:16 PM) antonio davis is a nice guy to have around it seems.... but man he is the biggest waste of money ever... id rather just bench Jalen Rose all the time and than that way we would of still had that other dude.. the ugly one whatevr his name was he was good for us last year b4 he was traded with rose. Marshall?

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 10:05 PM) Damn Bulls announcers for saying 6-5...BOO, lol. By the way, I gotta give Harrington credit. I've b****ed plenty about him but he's stepping up when they really need it. We have to keep starting him when he a.d. gets back. He will be back most likely on wensday and i do not see him helping us any.
-
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 09:59 PM) Game over...Bulls win and are now 6-5 at home. Perfect timing too, 24 is just about to start 10-9 at home.

Game within six and hinrich has fouled out, bulls ball

This is a quarter for the ages.
-
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 09:35 PM) Free throws are gonna kill us eventually. If he has another half quarter he might get it.
-
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 09:30 PM) 5:30 in the 3rd or 4th? 11:40 left in the fourth.
-
WooT, bulls up by 14 now and have the ball with 5:30 left. Tyson shooting two free throws.
-
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 09:12 PM) is this in Comcast SN? If you are asking if it is on comcast yes it is.

QUOTE(SuperSteve @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 09:52 AM) Thomas wasn't mentioned. Later on in the article he is.
-
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 08:44 PM) Quick update please? 49-48 bulls. Hinrich missed two free throws with about 5.5 seconds left in the half. Then golden state comes back down the floor and nails a three before the buzzer.
-
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 08:44 PM) He was just using that as an example. I think he's trying to say that you're throwing out some ridiculous stats to prove whether or not a player is a solid player, sorry if I put words in your mouth qwert, that's just how I interpreted it. You got what i said. His polanco, rollins, and castillo stats against the american league central are all sample sizes for the most part. Which means they can be thrown out the window.

QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 08:42 PM) It's really not hard to look up. Ichiro vs ALC: vs. CLE .360 .383 .459 .842 vs. DET .345 .385 .482 .867 vs. KAN .313 .389 .465 .854 vs. MIN .306 .324 .352 .676 Ichiro vs West, CC : 733, 1160 Ichiro vs Mor, Joh : 619. 1166 Ichiro vs San, Rad : 500, 885 The difference with Ichiro is his BA is good despite a low OPS. vs West he hit 286, vs San he hit 250. Great fit. I was using him as an example, i know his stats. I am saying, if there was a great player such as pujols, ichiro, ramirez, etc and they were bad against the american league central. You are telling me you would not want them?
-
They are called freethrows for a f***ing reason.
-
QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 08:36 PM) Go to ESPN & look up pitcher vs batter. Those teams still have Sabathia, Westbrook, Moroth, Johnson, Santana, & Radke as their front men. Ignoring the facts is idiotic. Why even present the stats of say rollins or castillo when they have had very limited at-bats against the american league central? Trying to prove that they do not fit the sox over a very small sample size? Makes no sense to me.
-
QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 08:23 PM) Look at his numbers vs the ALC. They're bad & I don't mean good. I have a feeling that if we had a chance to get ichiro and he had decent to bad numbers against the al centreal you would not want any part of him.
-
27-22 bulls after one.
-
QUOTE(Chisoxmatt @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 07:34 PM) If "the big O" has a big game tonight it would really help alot. He does not have to have a big game for us to win this game.

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 07:02 PM) i think its because they team needs to make room for the player but not sure on that one.... just a little question here isnt rogo our 1B and if he is who plays 1st in double A this season rogo or this dude. Isn't he a minor league free agent?
