  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 6, 2009 -> 02:58 PM) How has Crede's glove been this season? He has been the best defensive third baseman in the majors this season. I had to edit because i am 100% serious.
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2009 -> 07:20 AM) Thornton should always start his innings when he comes in. He seems to flourish in that role, as it gives him a little more room for error. I'm a huge fan of his, and think he'll be our closer next year. However, it seems like he's completely abandoned even thinking of throwing anything but a fastball, and it's reflected in how righties are hitting him very hard so far. 3. Ozzie is a cock smootch.
  4. No reason he is not being walked.
  5. Be a hero or something podsednik.
  6. QUOTE (jphat007 @ May 5, 2009 -> 07:42 PM) I'm so angry at this game. It's a good thing this is not september, else there would be holes in the wall What is wrong? You never show emotion.
  7. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 5, 2009 -> 07:41 PM) Hopefully our hitters don't study Hall of Famer Thome this year or we'll lead the AL in GIDP's again like in 2008. Stop hurting my head please.
  8. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 5, 2009 -> 07:30 PM) Carlos Quentin should have been in right, the last two games. You are right, he should have.

  13. QUOTE (fathom @ May 5, 2009 -> 04:46 PM) Dye is 2-20 with RISP this year. He batted an amazing .351 with RISP in 2006. You can tell he's not picking up the pitches well, as he's swinging at so many pitches out of the zone. His K/BB ratio is 24/6 this year. His percentage of pitches swung at outside of the zone while he has been a white sox. 2005- 19.8 % 2006- 20.6 % 2007- 23.5 % 2008- 24.8 % 2009- 24.3 %

  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 5, 2009 -> 03:10 PM) Aj is signed through 2011, correct? Flowers has time to develop, and work on that defense! He is signed through 2010, actually.
  16. Beckham and poreda will take us deep into the post season this season, i feel it.
  17. This is a very legitimate thread. Podsednik when playing every day is one of the worst players in the major leagues. Easily. You are right, there is no one else to start ... kenny williams and the ownership are to blame for that, solely. So they repay the entire fan base by continuely crying poor this entire off-season, which no fan wants to hear, and raising the prices all around the stadium. Seems logical to me. Injuries? The possiblities of injuries? Players not performing how they are expected? Part of creating a viable roster is taking those things into account.
  18. I doubt you come across many to disagree.
  19. Surprised so many of you are still here, i was told the game is over. BULLSEYE!!!
  20. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ May 4, 2009 -> 06:03 PM) it's pretty safe to say this team has given up, what a bunch of losers.
  21. Who else is seeing the guy with the crazy white hair right now during this aviles at-bat?
  22. That was for all the fans of podsednik.
  23. QUOTE (fathom @ May 4, 2009 -> 01:10 PM) At least we get to see the renovated home of the Royals. I can't wait to hear hawk.
