A Closer/ Set up man via trade
With his save yesterday, Danys Baez became only the second Devil Rays' reliever to post a 30-save season. Roberto Hernandez did it twice in 1999 and 2000. Baez, who is under contract for next season, has been everything Tampa hoped he would be this year. From rotoworld. I doubt they will be moving him any time soon.

The "I Can't Fucking Wait Till Tuesday" Thread
You seem to be having alot of problems so far. For that mission stay pretty far to the outside so he can get a better shot. If you are close to the train he will probally onlly kill one or two of them.

Big Frank is coming back!
I agree, he is no longer one of the top hitters in the game. But he is still one of the top sluggers in the game.

Big Frank is coming back!
That is usually why a player dh's because they cannot play the field at all and are slow. Enough people seem to like it that it has stuck around for so long. Since it was originally an experiment.

ESPN/USA Today names KU number 1
I like nick smith but he is nothing special. Augustine will be our main force defensively in the paint and that is not extremely comforting. I am not sayng won't be good but i think it is unlikely that they will be final 4, elite 8 good. Which i have heard people predict for the illini this year. Do any of you guys really think are defense in the paint will be good enough to get farther than last year in the tournament.

Also karros was released by the a's in either june or july so he no longer has the team option. He is contemplating retirement from what i have heard.

Casey's 2006 option was picked up on the same day. Doesn't make much sence to me either.

ESPN/USA Today names KU number 1
If they make the elite 8 with augustine as the top big man on the team i will be shocked. They did not not address the problem they had last year so that will still have the same problem they will have thyis year.

Vizquel to Sox-2 years, 8 mil?
Speculation. The sox are not actually suppose to be discussing money with another teams free agent yet.

GoodBye Eddie Robinson....
Alot of talent but is nothing but a bum that makes up lame injury excuses every chance he gets.

Mets interested in Maggs, Sammy, Manny...

Vizquel to Sox-2 years, 8 mil?
If you look closely at cabrera's stats he is not exactly too good and will command a couple more million per year than vizquel.

Vizquel to Sox-2 years, 8 mil?
Vizquel wants no part of leading off.

Mueller's option has been picked up by boston. Levine's option has been declined.
-
vizquel
Polanco's range factor was better than willie's this year. Vizquel and polanco are both head and shoulders better than willie offensively.
-
vizquel
At this point in vizquel's career they are about the same and if not the edge goes to polanco speed wise. People make out ploanco to be slow but he is pretty damn fast.

Several things that may interest you...
Makes no sense to me. They reportedly have interest in milton but not perez. I mean it's not close perez is clearly the better pitcher.

Free Agent Resource
They reported they were gonna. But he had some clause in his contract that once he had 280 at-bats he could beoome a free agent.
-
vizquel
You do not want polanco to play at short. He can if you really need him to, other than that it would be wise for him not to.
