Sox vs Tigers Game Thread 6-3-11
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 08:56 PM) Except for like, the run scoring part. We should have about 10 runs right now. Agreed. I spoke too damn soon . . . smh.

We have a new ball game all of a sudden.

Lillibridge is scarier than Adam Dunn has dreamed of being this season. True words.

6 man rotation
QUOTE (Iwritecode @ May 27, 2011 -> 01:29 PM) There's a quote from Ozzie in the 8th post. Wow, OK thanks! I definitely agree with the majority that speaks against Ozzie. Humber has been remarkable and deserves to be in the starting rotation. So much so that if we were down to either Humber or Danks going to the bullpen I would move Danks simply because John can’t buy a freakin’ win this season.

6 man rotation
So was this thread started just out of speculation or has some legit source come out of the wood work to speak of how we’ll change the only thing that has been consistent so far this season (the starting rotation)? Really don’t feel like reading six pages of could-be scenarios.

Birthday Happy Yoda and BHAMBARONS
Thank you! I am off now to watch the Sox and grab a few cold ones. Hoping one of my wishes come true (a big W).

White Sox have won 11 of 15
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 22, 2011 -> 09:09 PM) I think it would make kw a lot happier if he started getting production from Adam Dunn. That's the main thing he is missing from the offseason plan. It has to start with our leadoff man. He needs to make things happen. I strongly believe if Pierre was causing the kind of havoc he’s been known for in his career (b/c his bat has never really been something to go crazy about) then Alexei and Dunn would have better pitches to go at. Most of the time when Dunn is up at the plate, Pierre had long been retired from some kind of weak grounder to the infield.

Where are the Sox at the All-Star break?
I’m not good at making such predictions but you’re right about the schedule being in our favor. And just to make my post stand out a little more here is Cleveland’s schedule from now on until the All-Star Break: vs. Boston (3; 24-21) @ Tampa (3; 26-21) @ Toronto (3; 23-23) vs. Texas (4; 24-23) vs Minnesota (3; 15-30) @ New York (4; 25-20) @ Detroit (3; 23-23) vs. Pittsburgh (3; 22-24) vs. Colorado (3; 23-22) @ San Francisco (3; 27-19) @ Arizona (3; 23-23) @ Cincinnati (3; 25-22) vs New York (3; 25-20) vs Toronto (4; 23-23)

White Sox have won 11 of 15
QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ May 22, 2011 -> 08:18 PM) A really tough test coming up with this upcoming road trip. I think much of the 2011 story might just be told based on the results of this trip. This would seem like a rather valid point but since the Sox have looked closer to the team that Kenny expected to see in April, I think he will hold off in making any real drastic changes even if the Sox don’t do all that well in this trip. I still strongly believe Cleveland will hit a wall which may happen sooner than later. This week they go against the Red Sox then play the Rays in Tampa, the Blue Jays in Toronto and some run of the mill teams in June. Kansas City is just a game ahead of us and Detroit will hang around.

Sox to recognize two studs in Dodger series
Why not? How often do the White Sox honor former players from championship teams of past? Exactly.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!
Awesome performance! This can really be the start of something special. It seems like the Royals are finally cooling off and now its time to bring Cleveland back to earth and take the Central by the horns. If the staff can stay healthy (which they have for the most part) then a few games put together like the last week or so can really change the look of things for the Sox.
