  1. QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Dec 3, 2008 -> 02:50 PM) True, Steve's Mom could hit better than .220 The person below me has had a long discussion with a celebrity before. False...unless you consider former Sox pitcher Al Levine a celebrity. The person below me drops it...like it's hot.
  2. QUOTE (YASNY @ Dec 3, 2008 -> 03:01 PM) The diifference between this and "the person below you game" is that you know who you are directing your comments to. So I'm going to be the first to crawl out that proverbial limb and see what happens. Hit me with your best shot! Fire away! Yas is so old...his history book was 2 pages long: Chapter 1: Big Bang. Chapter 2: Now.
  3. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Dec 3, 2008 -> 02:13 PM) False The person below me likes the Vazquez trade. TRUE TRUE TRUE TRUE TRUE The person below me likes the Swisher trade.
  4. There is no difference between Ozzy's whoring and any other band/artists whoring. A whore is a whore, no matter if she's on the corner or a "call girl." The difference is...is he ok with it? And he is, so who cares?
  5. I had nitrogen ampule once...but a shot in the butt and some ointment cleared it right up.
  6. QUOTE (juddling @ Dec 2, 2008 -> 12:52 PM) unsure...X-mas party is this Saturday.... The person below me is sad that The Shield won't be on Tuesday nights anymore False...never watched it. The person below me has kicked someone with his Doc Marten's while in a mosh pit.
  7. QUOTE (Texsox @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 03:31 PM) Can't shovel sunshine. False The person below me does not have a tradition "landline" telephone False...but only for emergencies. The person below me owns skis. Snow or Water.
  8. QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Nov 29, 2008 -> 02:07 PM) False, I totally wear linen pants and jesus sandals. The person below me uses last.fm False. The person below me owned an 8-track player.
  9. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Nov 29, 2008 -> 03:43 PM) My college apartment, shoes are fine. Our house has white carpet. Gotta lose the shoes. Here's an idea: DON'T HAVE WHITE CARPET!!!
  10. And what Willy T brings us that nobody else on the team can do is bunt for hits...CONSISTENTLY. As long as he has an idea of what to do...bunt for hits and slap hitter every other time, he's going to be MORE dangerous. If he could get on at a .340 OBP clip, this team competes for the division and will scare teams in the playoffs. That's not just Willy T, that's any player like him.
  11. As long as the drapes match the rug, I don't much care.
  12. QUOTE (Texsox @ Nov 27, 2008 -> 10:46 AM) FALSE. Well actually small boobs are overrated The person below me drinks coffee with cream and sugar False...I like my coffee like I like my women...bitter. OR...I like my coffee like I like my women...hot, black and strong. The person below me has dressed like a woman...and liked it.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 25, 2008 -> 01:32 PM) The only reason it took him that long to break the starting lineup is because of Juan Uribe. I will bet on Viciedo starting for us out of ST. That may be, but having Fields in left AGAIN isn't going to happen. There's no way. He'll either be starting 3B on the Sox or moved as a part of a trade. But, that experiment is ova.
  14. QUOTE (Hatchetman @ Nov 24, 2008 -> 01:44 PM) Clearing cap-space for Jay? That's what Waddle and Silvy were thinking. Well, maybe not thinking, but wondering.
  15. all this says t me is that Kenny is doing what he always does...listen to offers. And Flash, if Kenny gets Hudson the Sox will still need a 2B by July because the O-Dog is a bit injury prone.

    Great T-Shirts

There are two I would love to make. And if any of you take it...I'll punch you right in the eye! 1) Front: A can of Campbell's soup with the flavor being "Primordial." Back: "Never underestimate the power of soup." 2) My friend from Beecher, IL wanted to open this place up and I thought it would be a fantastic t-shirt: "Beecher Meat and Liquor."
  17. I had Inaugural Balls once...turned black, oozed pus, just not pretty. But, a couple of shots in the butt and I was all better. /green
  18. Interesting list of all code names...
  19. Hey guys, as long as the 8-track is still cranking Billy Squier...he's golden.
  20. QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Nov 9, 2008 -> 02:09 PM) It's not a problem. Some people might say I have a problem with the LDS church and I do. Not the religion, but rather the church apparatus. The reason that I can't be involved in Scouting as an adult volunteer is that the LDS has basically said that they will no longer allow their churches to sponsor troops if they allow openly gay adult volunteers in Scouting. (LDS troops consist of roughly 20-25% of the BSA's enrollment IIRC) This church actively attacks a group of people and seeks to marginalize them from the society that I am proud to call myself a member of. They have the right to do so, but they should have to follow the law in the ways that they can and can not do so as a church. And considering the LDS WAS a group of people that was marginalized from society, you'd think they'd have more sympathy...
  21. I have a hunch that female and homosexual are on the same level. The American people are scared to death of women and homosexuals in positions of power. I have no idea why, but that just seems to be the case and for probably different reasons. I think Hispanic is the next in line...after that, who knows.
  22. I wouldn't be surprised if Kenny didn't do much this year. Maybe some peripheral trades, but nothing huge. For instance, if he can dump Javy, it might not be for more than some high upside, upper tier minor leaguers. that being said, ESPN is a bunch of morons when it comes to teams outside the I-95 corridor.
