  1. Considering we've drafted and developed one position player into an all star for us in the last 30 years, it certainly seems more exclusive to the White Sox.
  2. I'm just here to say Tim Anderson was a big success and doesn't deserve to get lumped in with everyone else.
  3. No you dont. Has another year of control
  4. I guess I'm confused why you think any of these are contradicting statements. People being stupid and not knowing how to work an antenna (which you dont even need) or complaining about paying for something so you should get it on your service (nonsensical when again it is free ota) is why Comcast was strong enough to demand it be removed.
  5. Obviously made-up by the Sox to justify the deal. Although it is sad that dumbasses couldn't figure out how to work an antenna forcing everyone to pay $500 a year for this.
  6. Needs to be the pick if he's there but I doubt he is.
  7. Royals going full Sox. You never go full Sox.
  8. Assuming they dont get much, agreed. He's under control may as well keep him.
  9. Claiming Cusick than immediately DFA'ing him is interesting. Guess they think no one else will claim him.
  10. The people bitching about wanting to pay for a free product finally got their way. Unreal.
  11. Guy with a Jesse Scholtens jersey here. I can only assume its Jesse Scholtens.
  12. Should have sent him. Oh well Elko GS incoming
  13. I like the waiver pick-up. Former first round pick, only 25 years old, big and can touch 99. Really like this pick-up. The kind of roster churning that should be done. ERA under 3, 10k/9 in the minors last year as a reliever so i would think they leave him there. Similar profile to Burke so maybe they try him as SP. Seemingly needs to throw strikes
  14. Barrel rate definitely answers the first part of that. The numbers are also comparative, which is what I'm saying. His cumulative barrel rate, contact rate, and exit velocity are better than his fellow college hitting peers vs the same bad pitching (albeit he would face better pitching in the SEC). He had nice numbers in cape cod league using wood bats too.
  15. 94 mph exit velocity, 24% barrel rate, 80% contact rate playing in the SEC. Those combined numbers I would think put him above any college hitter position concerns be damned. Not to mention a last name that will print money for this franchise.

  17. Our 2nd in command of scouting isn't a full time job?
  18. Salary caps lend themselves to less parity, not more.
