  1. Last thing I want to do is defend Reinsdorf and the Sox here (which im not even doing) but it was Benetti who said all of this about the eating or whatever to his friends on 670 the score. This did not come from the Sox camp. And then the Internet blew it up. People need to realize 2 sides can play the PR game. We all saw the same game with Rick Hahn too.
  2. The whole eating in the booth thing has become more message board lore than anything. Its probably been talked about here more than it ever was conveyed to him or in the front office. Being hung up on it is ridiculous at this point. It's pretty clear the Sox didnt love his schedule but Jason wanted to do more national stuff so they let him out of his conteact early. It is what it is.
  3. Lol most clickbaity trash ever
  4. John asked better questions than I thought he would. Getz doesn't really give confident answers
  5. There is an entire minor league forum
  6. Acuna making an error with Getz in the booth is the White Sox moment of the year
  7. Acuna and Meidroth in the line-up over Benintendi seems stupid. Not sure why you wouldnt lead him off.
  8. Whatever tool they use to measure HRs at this park is way broken. That was over 400 feet.
  9. To say nothing about their defense where Robert is still a star including an awesome catch last night. And the closer we apparently used the savings on is doing just fantastic for us. Such a stupid trade.
  10. Unironically, he wants to lead the lockout that is coming.
  11. Vaughn was well on his way to having the worst season in MLB history before he got sent down last year, so can compare that to anyone in baseball.
  12. Yes, Andrew Vaughn stunk, much worse than that even. Not sure what invoking his name is trying to do here.
  13. This seems like an absurdly stupid trade that I can't see the vision on from any angle.
  14. My mini conspiracy is that the injury was fake. Not sure if by him, or by the org. With Schultz coming up, obviously Cannon was going right back down. Now they can IL him and he earns a MLB paycheck. Sox did this before with someone iirc.
  15. Didn't see it, but that belongs to McGuire looking at 6 straight pitches
  16. The dugout was screaming it and thats why he seemingly ran
  17. Guessing hes getting called up. Just that they havent told him and have to decide who they take off the roster with still a game to play yet. Little different for a SP who has to prepare.
  18. You made up that number. Regardless, the answer to your question was already addressed. Mediocre players are a much better alternative than not having a single outfielder who would be on any other MLB team's roster. It was a salary dump. Still a bizarre reason for any fan to defend the move when we sit at the bottom of the league in payroll. There was otherwise no reason to move Robert just to move him.
  19. The Sox have currently 0 outfielders on their roster who would be even a 5th outfielder on basically any other MLB team. Trading him was not necessary. It was a dumb, bad trade. "Time to move on" yet no one can explain what that means or say as to why.
  20. Just reads like fatigue and have to write something.
