  1. I wish we would become that third team and land bynum
  2. Funny my name just got brought up because I came here to post what a clusterf*** that thread has become, ha. I went in there to post about a great Buehrle interview I heard on the score today but didn't even bother because no one would care in there. I pay extra attention to the Marlins, similar to that of the Cubs and them having their own thread, now that they have two of our most famous ex-Sox. I did really believe Buehrle leaving was as notable as Ozzie. Didn't realize the thread would become what it did, but at least it is condensed to one thread. It's kind of annoying how it is spilling over however.
  3. Leaving him out to die in a one one game?
  4. QUOTE (northside sawx @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 11:31 PM) Axlerod has no go-to out pitch when he gets to two strikes. Big problem for an MLB pitcher, especially facing this team Red sox fan?
  5. Sign Lillibridge to bring back please.
  6. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jul 12, 2012 -> 09:50 PM) I'd be thrilled to get Dempster but I don't think Theo will be willing to help the Sox out. Has Theo and KW ever made a trade together? KW seems only willing to trade with a few GM's Mark Kotsay/Brian Anderson
  7. Just from the descriptions, it sounds like Sanchez should be a top three player in our system easily.
  8. I have a feeling today will be the last day we see Tyler flowers
  9. Axelrod flat out dominant today. I'm feeling a perfect game if he keeps this up!
  10. I cannot believe I'm saying this, but I believe the answer to be Rios.
  11. Dallas fans are going nuts. In my extreme pipedream, Dirk gets restless too and Bulls trade for him at midseason. Yeah.
  12. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 04:07 PM) Picking up Griffey's corpse to play center wasn't a quality move and did nothing to get us to the playoffs that year. What? He actually played better defense than Swisher and hit better than him. Hell, throwing out Cuddyer at home was enough to justify it.
  13. 2003 was a ridiculous offense: DH- Frank Thomas 1B- Paul Konerko 2B- Roberto Alomar SS- Jose Valentin 3B- Joe Crede RF- Magglio Ordonez CF- Carl Everett (also another answer for most impactful in-season move) LF- Carlos Lee C- Miguel Olivo Combined with a very good staff, at least one through four, it's pretty amazing that team didn't make the play-offs.
  14. @jazayerli: Three hours ago, the Rangers had a run differential 58 runs better than the White Sox. Right now, that's down to 20.
  15. Dwights likely out of the picture if Williams and Johnson are in it.
