Like I said, go Collins

Hahn has got to be aggressive in going after offense. Yermin won’t hit like Bonds all season.

Easily biggest concern for this team right now is lack of power. Can’t win too many with just pitching.

Looked really good. Lots of hard hit balls. If the Sox got him, he’d be a great fit to lengthen the lineup. I don’t know how the Sox can count on Eaton going forward.

0-7

People say managers aren’t responsible for a huge win/loss margin. That’s if they’re not making irrational decisions that no other managers would ever make.

At least those morons knew the rules of the game

I just want him gone after this season. He’s already done his best to slow down the momentum from last year.

Brewers seem like the best fit, IMO. Their offense is atrocious.

Why even risk Tony making asinine decisions? What’s next, we sign Miguel Cabrera after he gets released and put him in RF?

Sox going to make some clerical error and get stuck paying his full contract

He is...it was his opinion the returning players from last year didn’t know how to win and they needed tough players Iike Eaton.

They’ll sign Pujols and then trade Yermin to the Rockies for Blackmon or something ridiculous like that

Or how about acting like a real team and try finding legit improvements/depth? This whole organization looks so stupid right now, as Tony has sucked all the oxygen out of the room.

You’re crazy if you don’t think Tony would play him 5-6 times a week. He’s a veteran player....we saw how much he favors Hamilton already due to that status.

Remember when Tony intentionally walked him this year? Good times

How many times this offseason did some of us express concern over the likelihood of having too many slappy, crappy hitters in the lineup due to likely injury issues?

It’s frustrating that lost in all the bad decisions yesterday, pitching to Winker might be the worst. I must be the only one who didn’t mind Garcia trying to steal. That was the best chance of scoring multiple runs that inning if you’re going to let Hamilton bat.

What sucks is would anyone be surprised if these nagging injuries last the rest of the year with Eaton? He’s the type that seems once something goes wrong, he falls off a cliff and doesn’t recover.

Paul Dejong a good comp?

Appreciate it, but then I wouldn’t want people hoping I don’t wake up

Good news is if we got so lucky as fans that they did fire him, I’m sure the players wouldn’t revolt.

Also opens up a squeeze chance. Can you imagine the outrage if Hendriks got hurt running and then this news comes out?

He has no confidence in his slider. We saw how that goes with him in Game 2 last year

No, it was for this game, not about the signing. All the relievers on the market sucked besides Melancon it seems.
