Is this where I get in trouble for saying Cubs have made baseball cool again in the city

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 16, 2017 -> 04:02 AM) I'll agree with that. I would've pulled Pelfrey after the homer. But its semantics at this point from that b.s call. Still would have only been two outs, and then he was nowhere close against one of the worst hitters in baseball and almost gave up a homer to their 9 hitter.

QUOTE (flavum @ May 16, 2017 -> 04:04 AM) Todd Frazier is hitting .175, but he's our third basemen, and he's going to turn it around real soon and lead us to the playoffs, by golly. Go Sox yay! He's going to be out of baseball in two years if he keeps this up. His swing mechanics are awful.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 16, 2017 -> 03:58 AM) Renteria has been very good this season. I got on him before but he's been right on the money with his feel for the game for the most part. Letting him face Trout was bonkers though. That's hard to defend

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 16, 2017 -> 04:53 AM) That ball 4 call was bulls*** and you know it. https://mobile.twitter.com/WhiteSoxUmp/stat...323835251892224 Should have been out of the inning in the first place. Absolutely a bad call but you could see him hit the wall against Espinosa

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 16, 2017 -> 04:48 AM) 0 issue with him leaving Pelfrey in. Hell, a horrid call cost him extra pitches. If you can't go 5 innings, you shouldn't be in the big leagues. That's the thing, he shouldn't be in the majors. He can't finish 5 innings and was lucky it wasn't 3-3 after the long fly out. With two outs and lefty up, seemed like obvious time to pull him

Does RR have money on the Angels? This is insane, that is inexcusable

Absolutely brutal managing by Renteria. Trying to get Pelfrey the win. Good thing this game doesn't matter

Great approach!

Chavez is away, away, away to righties and Sox hitters look clueless.

Offense is dreadful. Davidson gonna be below .200 in no time

This would be a nice game to lose

Melky is the worst starter in baseball according to fWAR

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 16, 2017 -> 01:45 AM) The only disappointing thing with Adolfo is we're not seeing the power numbers (yet). I know...age, age, age. So I suppose it's more encouraging he's at least holding his own and we have to cross our fingers the rest of the potential falls into place. He's not a speed-based player, so he's really got to hit 20-30 homers to be truly useful. No one on that team is hitting for power

Done

QUOTE (NCsoxfan @ May 16, 2017 -> 12:55 AM) Maybe I'm overestimating the return, but I feel like Soto AND Kieboom would be an absolute haul. No way you get both unfortunately

Numbers aren't bad at all for his age and level

Minaya my guess

Leury and Yolmer!

Davidson swings and misses so much, it's amazing

QUOTE (flavum @ May 14, 2017 -> 07:54 PM) As soon as I check Kopech, he gives up a homer. Great start though. 6th inning has been rough for Sox minor leaguers. I'm sure that's common around the league.

Great throw!

QUOTE (StrykerSox @ May 14, 2017 -> 07:26 PM) Looks like Frazier is going to be the next slugger whose career terminates in the south side. Dunn, Laroche and now this guy. Good riddance to all. Not sluggers but don't forget Keppinger and Navarro

So Yoan is human...darn
