QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Feb 13, 2015 -> 05:14 AM) Aaron Cosby told not to play basketball this week, looking like he won't be back next year. Sounds like his former team is a mess now as well.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Feb 13, 2015 -> 05:13 AM) Even most of the top teams aren't that fun to watch. Kentucky is a fantastic team but I just don't enjoy watching them at all. Virginia plays really good basketball but I find them boring to watch. Completely agree. Ironically one of the teams that has been most fun to watch is DePaul this year.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Feb 13, 2015 -> 05:13 AM) CBB is too tough to watch if you dont have some sort of rooting interest. But I'll be watching a lot during conference tourney week. I think I may enjoy conference tournament week more than the actual tournament as a whole. Well, I blame your team for Gregory still being employed

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Feb 13, 2015 -> 04:08 AM) I'd say college basketball in general is awful this year outside of a handful of teams. Yep , Gonzaga is actually my favorite team to watch this year. They at least have scorers at every position. This season is probably the least I have watched in 25 years

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 13, 2015 -> 03:55 AM) It's games like this that give college basketball a bad name The Big Ten is awful outside of Wisconsin and D. Russell. I blame Calipari for hogging all the talent.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Feb 13, 2015 -> 04:03 AM) Yeah, I get that he is generally reliable but asking him to make a pass there over Egwu is really tough. Their inbound plays were so stupid. It's like they were afraid to just make a simple pass.

Not sure I've ever seen a worse overtime effort.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 13, 2015 -> 04:57 AM) Why was Spike taking ball out vs Egwu? Gotta switch that Not sure I've seen a worst final two minutes of coaching.

What a choke by Michigan

Dan Hayes ‏@CSNHayes Kenny Williams was fired up on #JRW. He's writing an op-Ed for tomorrow's Trib. #WhiteSox

Schoenfield sure doesn't think highly of the Sox. Tampa higher than the Sox is quite puzzling to me. http://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/i...24-through-19-2

QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Feb 10, 2015 -> 08:35 PM) The cubs issue will be the holes left after the youth is traded. The Cardinals and Red Sox have youth to trade with a good MLB team. The cubs need to hit on all of these guys for their rebuild to work. The Cubs could trade Russell and still not be left with a hole at the big league level. I actually think the Cardinals depth is slowly eroding, as their farm system has dried up.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 10, 2015 -> 05:01 PM) Amaro is stupid, but not that stupid. Oh come on, there's no way Boston or the Cardinals could top Wood, Castillo and mid-level prospects

Not sure how I feel about Better Call Saul so far. The beginning and end of the first episode was great. I'm hating the stuff with Chuck so far, but I'm hopeful there will be a good payoff to that plot.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Feb 7, 2015 -> 02:40 PM) Words cannot describe how happy I was that my daughter was fixated on Spongebob and Toy Story. You can do so much worse. Lego Movie has been such an incredible discovery for my kids.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Feb 9, 2015 -> 11:34 PM) In his insider piece, Keith Law speculates that Padres could now flip some of their pitching to Philly for Cole Hamels. I think Andrew Cashner and #1 prospect Matt Wisler is a nice start to a package that the Phillies would have to strongly consider. The Padres have really good SP depth and probably the 3rd or 4th best rotation in the NL. To me, they need more infield help than pitching help. The only reason for them to trade Cashner would be if they know he won't stay healthy.

QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Feb 9, 2015 -> 09:52 PM) Ehhh. 5th is still really, really good. It's not as if Bryant doesn't have any faults too. The four in front of him play premium positions (and play them well). Bryant may be a LF and he strikes out a lot so might have trouble hitting for average. Again, Urias is 10th and hasn't pitched above A+. I wouldn't get too worked up about the difference between players ranked 8th, 9th and 10th. I saw in one of the comments that they said they really valued up the middle players.

BP has been way too high on Cubs players it seems, and this list illustrates that. Almora in front of Rodon is crazy.

Haha, what a choke. Nice to win one like that

Horrible effort in the 4th. Getting out hustled like crazy. Thibs drawing up a Snell/Noah pick and roll out of a timeout was so dumb. Thibs really needs to go.

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Feb 9, 2015 -> 01:36 AM) Is this guy ever going to sign? Might as well wait for Spring Training and injuries to occur at this point. Sounds like Padres or Cubs in next few days

Taj is so unathletic now. He looks to have lost two steps out there.

I still can't decide how I feel about it if the Cubs sign Shields. He would definitely make their team a lot deeper this year, but I think they can spend their money better next offseason for Price, Cueto or Zimmermann.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 7, 2015 -> 08:07 PM) Shocked they didn't call a foul on Colbert there. Closer to a foul than most of this bs. I hate what Michigan St. has become
