Couldn’t agree more with you, but we know the Sox tend to get tunnel vision with their decision making. They want to play like the Royals of the past with speed and defense, which is a huge mistake IMO.

Don’t know if it was mentioned already, but the Giants seem willing to trade their young pitching. Not a fan of their guys, but their interest will pick up in Cease when Yamamoto goes elsewhere.

I also don’t get the sense the Braves will give up both AJSS and Waldrep. They value pitching depth, especially given the injury issues with Fried and Morton.
