The Sox are probably going to struggle in Spring Training more than most teams due to the absolutely lack of depth in the minors, and these are the players that end up playing about half of all Spring Training innings.

To be honest, I just don't think they're very good. They'll play better than they are in Spring Training, but this current roster as constructed has no business competing for the division. Very, very little room for error with this roster.

First time seeing Rios bat this spring, and doesn't look like much changed in his swing. Putting him in the 3 spot and not making him earn it is a mistake, in my opinion.

Sale escaped the first after an infield single and hitting Pujols (followed by wp/pb). I still have concerns about Sale going up regularly against lineups full of righties, but he still has such huge potential.
