White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
Beckham has the bat speed of a 35 year old player off of steroids.

Gavin's definitely pitched well enough to win

QUOTE (Real @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 01:41 AM) lol at this offense Cy Nova 1 run on what, 6 hits against Nova and Penny (two starters who had been horrible so far). I've never seen anything like this.

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 12:38 AM) like it matters Crazy to think we could easily be going on 4 straight games of no runs if not for bad defense.

White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
Dunn chased ball 4 and 5 there. He's diving over the plate a lot more than I saw him do in the past, as he doesn't seem to be getting around the ball very well (same as Beckham and Morel).

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 12:33 AM) The fastest pitch I've seen live at bat was mid eighties, and it was backed up with a change that almost screwed me into the ground Faced 93 mph in the state tourney. I'd rather face that than some type of change-up or splitter.

Nova is making a lot of bad pitches the last few innings, we just can't get an extra base hit. Quentin typically destroys that 2-0 pitch.

DON'T STEAL

White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
Is this inning or never for Sox. Maybe Yankees will drop a few more balls, as the 3 runs we've scored were all cause of bad defense.

Ugh...to think we almost had him instead of Pierre.

Goodness Brent, I could have hit that out.

There we go Beckham! Excellent speed shown by Rios there. Let's see Morel hit it in the same spot.

AJP's power is just about done with. That ball was in the seats two years ago.

White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
Whew, nice break there on a hard hit by Rios. Wouldn't mind a hit and run to avoid the AJDP

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 01:09 AM) Definitely a position of weakness for this team right now. Corner infielder that can't hit Safe to say KW and Ozzie won't be counting on rookies coming into the season anytime soon?

White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
I really question why Morel is still playing in games. He's providing nothing offensively, and we can't sacrifice at bats just for someone who's supposed to be a good fielder.

Another offensive explosion I see.

QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 02:08 AM) +1 Don't get why we should be so interested in it. f*** it, the real wedding of the decade is Jay Cutler and super hottie Kristin Cav

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 02:26 AM) I was thinking of the Garland curveball circa 2004-6. Quick breaker. I always thought Garland threw more of a slider. Like someone else mentioned, he reminds a ton of Gavin.

Rios arms/hands position
Rios, Beckham and Morel have mechanics that make it nearly impossible to make consistently solid contact.

White Sox (Humber) v. Yankees (Burnett) 6:05pm
For those wanting Thornton, you might want to talk to the Cardinals about Ryan Franklin.

White Sox (Humber) v. Yankees (Burnett) 6:05pm

White Sox (Humber) v. Yankees (Burnett) 6:05pm
It's not like Santos threw 20 pitches in the 8th.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 02:50 AM) DP appears to have calmed him down a LOT. His release point is better against righties.
