I might as well say this now so that I don't have to waste my time in the game thread: Javy Vazquez will dominate the Sox today because he always fares well against National League teams.

Third time in less than 2 weeks that Vizquel and Kotsay are in the lineup together.

Making losing look easy...just not a talented team. We wouldn't win 65 games in the AL East. I hate watching NL lineups face AL teams. I'm shocked Ozzie didn't know better than everyone else in baseball.

Pierre makes finding holes in the defense seem impossible. It must be because he doesn't hit the ball hard enough to get through the holes.

We just don't have the fire power in our offense to have consistent scoring threats throughout a game. Only 1 run for the Sox after the first 4 batters of this game. At least this game was entertaining for 7 innings.

Kotsay is so slow, it's funny that Ozzie and KW think he's fast. I have a feeling Jermaine's going to be on the Sox by the end of May.

Teahen is a miserable 2-19 vs LHP this season. He's really just a mediocre player who was a terrible fit for the Sox at 3rd.

Were the rumors that the Sox were interested in Gardner before the Pierre trade happened last season?

OF COURSE! This game is over. Good effort, but it highlights how pathetic it is that Nix is playing right field. How are you not shaded all the way down the line with the approach he had?

I really like B. Gardner, he's a much better version of Pierre. Thornton's strange season continues, as he has struggled in close games. He seems to be aiming the ball tonight.
